Ensworth is not quite as good as the last 4 years...but they are still pretty good. They are extremely well coached. It should be a good one.

Maryville won their 16th title. They were down 28-7 after 1. Ravenwood lined up for winning fg with 4 seconds left...blocked. Maryville scored in OT. Ravenwood scored,..went for 2...didn't make it. Final Maryville 35 - Ravenwood 34.

West 23 - Hillsboro 6

CPA 7 - Alcoa 0 final

They are playing in their 11th straight title game. They have not always been in the highest class...but they are now. Many accuse them of recruiting too. They do get a lot of players that come there to play..,as does Alcoa. They are both in Blount County. Both are extremely well coached...obviously. Alcoa's coach..Gary Rankin set the state record for wins last week. Quarles at Maryville is a great coach. They don't always have the best talent...but they do always have good talent. They just don't make many mistakes. Both have tough games this year. Both schools have a lot to offer.

McCallie lost to MBA in quarterfinals 43-14. Ended up 9-3 Blackman lost to Oakland in quarterfinals 20-9. Ended up 11-2.
