  1. Russell isn't going to just lay down and be rolled over. Dodd is going to use every possible way to find victory. Skaggs is a proven player and his stats are enough to shut any of the skeptics up. Russell has one thing that won't change and thats hard work. Losing the "dream team" from last year put a hurting on the team as a whole leaving not much experience coming into this year but I think it's early and I think some people might be surprised what Dodd will pull out his hat. Do I see some new faces on the team in the future... possibly some football players?
  2. Last year at the russell vs. ashland game was a great display of student section talent for both sides.
  3. Well tonight Ashland Post 76 finished its season with a loss to Danville. I just wanted to say congrads to the coaches and players for the endless hours that they put in allowing them to make it to the final four in the state tournement. Each year this is what many teams start out for, the "final four". After a rocky start for the team they came on very strong as the summer progressed on. Paul Lewis does an amazing job with the kids.Good luck and God Bless to the players and their families as they now venture off into the world of college. :thumb:
  4. Good luck tonight as the local Ashland Post 76 takes on Metcalf Post 65 at 8pm. :thumb:

And I believe there are two kids on the team that will be seniors this year and they are: Tyler DeHoff-Russell, Caleb Rigsby-Ashland. Congrads to the players! :thumb:
  6. Congradulations!!! :thumb: Keep up the hard work in college.
  7. the team is very athletic and had a slow start to the season but have come on strong as the summer progresses and lets hope that keeps up. keep up the hard work players and coaches!!!
  8. some kids just did not make the trip but also there were a few kids that could not make the trip down because of football. congrads to the coaches and players on a very successful summer. :thumb:
  9. Where would be the best place to purchase these bands from? And what all bands would I need for pitcher's.
  10. What about bands? Some people say they are wonderful, where as others will tell you that they do nothing but tear up your arm. What are your thoughts on this?
  11. What are some of the best ways to strenghten pitcher's arms without tearing them up?
  12. A little suprised by the score but, baseball starts with pitching and if your pitcher is not throwing strikes and walking people it makes that much harder for your team to win. Good luck to Wright tonight as GC is on the bubble. :thumb:
