Out of the list given on poll, I would pick J. Girardi. A manager w / experience plus championship experience would get the nod from me over any new, fist time manager. I like Larkin a lot, he is an old school / true Red but no experience in managing would make me question. We have witnessed how that can work out, or not. Larkin imo would be an excellent batting coach and/or asst. manager/bench coach. One question in my mind would be is how...

I've said it over and over ...Price should have never been hired in the first place. Hire a manager to turn a team around / to be competing for the division, playoffs in every season ....and they hire a man with Zero managing experience, :idunno:. The Reds front office got exactly what they pay for. BTW, the NYY have done the same this season, I hope that they don't pay the same last place price. I don't think they will bc 1. A. Boone has grown...

:thumb: the only reason that I can come up with is ...BC the Reds are the worst ran organization in MLB, probably in all of professional sports. Nothing will change the Reds outlook, baseball's example of failure until the entire front office is gone. ...."you can't make chicken salad from chicken crap"

Yes it was. No talking smack, no chest thumping ...they just go out and play basketball, and beat you. Coaches and players all acted with class. They are a great example of how an NCAA Basketball team and program should be.

I don't believe that Villanova left one ounce of doubt that they were the best team in America. 6 wins to the title, all by double digits was as impressive as I can think of in a while. Brunson had just 9 pts., 2 asst. in the game and they still dominated. Jay Wright already was one of my very favorite coaches anywhere and with this championship, imo he put his name in with the elite coaches. When talking about top coaches / programs, I really...

You must not have been a Reds fan when Sparky Anderson, Jack McKeon / trader Jack or Lou Pinella were there .....

Villanova is on a mission. Michigan can defend but not good enough to stop Nova. Also, Nova has imo the best Coach in NCAAM bb at this time plus the best PG in the country. Nova has put everyone away convincingly, the Wildcats by double digits.

No doubt these Reds are going to score a lot of runs. Also, no doubt that the opposition will score a lot more and the Reds have the worst manager in MLB. I hope that Homer can have a good season, he pitched well in the opener.

What a run by Loy / Chi ! No McD's or 1/dones, they were a pleasure to watch. Just a well coached, SR. laden team that was playing for the right reasons .....pride and Team. Who Knew that would work, uh ? :D Michigan is on a roll, playing their best at the right time. Nova is doing the same with imo superior talent, Nova Wins on Mon. night.

I am taking Nova, they seem to be focused on winning it all and definitely have the coach, talent and "Team" chemistry to do it. Should be a close one and I think that Nova will separate / widen the lead in the last few minutes and win by around 8-10 pts.

I have to pull for the "Ramblers", after all, they're my namesake :D Actually, I think that Michigan is the type team that can stop the Cinderella run. There's a lot of the so called experts that are now for the first time picking Loy / Chi. to win. Since they, along with a lot of us in this tourney haven't got much right, if they're now giving Sister Jean a chance to win ....I'm taking Michigan. .....and yes, in this tourney, I have been as...

Another great game to watch. ND just made one more play than UConn. Seems that the ND coach has UConn's / Geno's number ....well, as much as anyone can.

I watched this one and was really pulling for the Toppers. That was a tough loss. WKU has a Great Coach and Class act in R. Stansbury. Actually, he is one that I would like to see given consideration for the U.K job when Cal decides to leave

Villanova was impressive in winning that big of a game in a game that they didn't play their best. Jay Wright is the best basketball coach in America right now, jmo.

This one was what a person would hope for in a game between two traditional powers with H.O.F. coaches. Yes, I was pulling for Kansas and freely admit that G. Allen missed the shot at the end of regulation that may very well would've won the game for Duke. A cheap shot player got what imo he deserved. Should he and others had passed the ball inside more often then Duke may have won.
