Another slow start but they came out of it, recovered far sooner than in other games. U.K. outplayed, outhustled UGA in every phase of the game. A 20pt. win on the road speaks for itself but add in that it was a conference win and it's more impressive. How great was Hagans tonight ? #2 took over this one and imo is the Cats driving force right now, he makes this team better. UGA will eventually be a better team, they just don't have the...

After Vandy opened up an early 12 pt. lead, U.K. really went to work on defense. Along with the defense, a huge factor was that the Cats out rebounded Vandy (by 17!) and took over the game. Hagans and Johnson led the Cats scoring, Travis grabbed 12 rebounds ! I love the way that Hagans plays the game, his D and passing rubs off on the teams play. Quickley can flat out shoot, score. A win in conference is a good win. Vandy's zone, delib..0erate...

:thumb: … ^ What you said. Aside from that I thought that there were still times that this team "took a possession off" at times, slacked on defending but the overall effort was better. I also thought that the passing was better in this game than was on this past Sat.. Vandy is up on Sat. night …. Go Cats.

I am going on what practically every ncaambb commentator has said about the strength of the SEC this season. I am also going on my own eyes when watching these SEC teams play. Yes, there are all of these what I call the alphabet stats, which some are telling but imo some aren't. I have never seen a basketball or other sports game won on paper. So, they can quote RPI, BPI, SOS and/or any other combinations of made up letters for stats that they...

:lol2:, I knew this would start in one form or another. As of now ….. it's Clemson vs Alabama V. Those two aren't going anywhere, both were deep and loaded with underclassmen. Should people not like it, say that it's ruining CFB … tell those to beat one of them :idunno:.

Way too early to tell but that does look interesting. I hadn't realized that the two have never played. I think that maybe U.K. should look to schedule MSU. I would love to see Murray make the tourney.

This is jmo but I don't believe that it was an "awful" loss. Any road game in conference, especially this 2019 SEC season and the teams in it are going to be tough. Now I agree that U.K. should've won the game, no question but I just don't think that it was an awful loss. The SEC is going to be really good this season, there is no question about that. At least for now the sky hasn't fallen.

Clemson left absolutely no doubt about the question of who the best cfb team in America is. Dabo's boys beat Bama in every way possible to beat a team. I thought that Clemson might win in a very close game but nothing like the beating that we just witnessed. I'm sure that Bama fans are now steaming even more that Clemson's receiver, #8 (can't think of his name right now... another OR brain fart, lol) chose Clemson over Bama. Dabo Sweeny, imo...

As in most games, this one was won / lost on the boards and defensive intensity. Bama kept U.K. from their usual big offensive rebounding advantage and that was a huge difference in the game. U.K. had a big rebounding edge and Bama made turned that and ended up out rebounding the Cats by 8. That should never happen with this team. Rebounding and defense doesn't require more talent, it requires having more guts, desire for the ball than the other...

There was a time when a Rose Bowl win to OSU and fans would be the win, reward for a championship season. Although I am extremely happy with another Big10 title and Rose Bowl, I can't help but think what could've and imo should've been from this season. Having said that the Buckeyes have no one to blame but themselves in not having a shot at then continued playoff, NC. This has been a season full of set backs starting even before the season and...

Thank you and I know that he will be leaving but i'm hoping that Haskins chooses to stay. Besides, a QB is important but the Bengals need a lot more than that. Like the Reds, imo the house cleaning with both needs to start at the top ….. entire front office and go down from there.

Thank you Coach Stoops and thank you to AD M. Barnhart for sticking with Coach Stoops when the IDIOTS around were waning him gone. Any that were wanting Stoops fired should really turn in their common sense fan card, :lol2:. I said that partly joking but imo anyway, a lot of fans expected way too much, far too soon and didn't realize just how far down the sewer that Kentucky football was …. there was no talent, no depth and no recruiting hopes...

GREAT Win for this U.K. Program. With the great game that B. Snell had, times I was most impressed with him and what he's about is seeing him go and block downfield when he isn't running the ball. Snell is about "team" first. I admit before I saw him play a lot that I thought that he was just another "show boat" that was about himself... nothing could've been further from the truth. As for the game, after the last TD / Snell breaking the UK...

Another really good "team" win. Defense was very good, especially the shut down of the Cards big man by P.J. Washington. U.K. won this game in lane. Down low, the Cats dominated inside play on both ends of the court. Washington had 8 reb., Johnson pulled down 7. Herro scored a career-high 24 pts ( 10 of 13, four 3-pointers), while K. Johnson had 15 and has become imo a leader on this team. Also, with 11 points, three assists and three steals...

I hope that U.K. can come out w / the same effort, desire and execute like they did last Saturday. I'm wanting to see more than one solid game to say that will be what we can expect from the Cats each time out. Now that the Cal owning Pitino factor that was eating at RP is now gone . Mack has his team playing his hard, tough brand of ball and I look for an excellent, down to the last few possesions type of game that fans expect in this...

When a team rebounds, passes the ball and defends like this one did today . A lot of Wins are coming. Today was what I call "U.K. Wildcats Basketball". UNC was touted as the best rebounding team anywhere and these U.K. kids just outrebounded the Heels by 10, 43-33. K. Johnson had 21 pts. w 7/12 shooting. P.J. Washington and R. Travis were a force inside with their defense and rebounding. A. Hagans imo was the player of the game with the way...

I've been wondering on that one myself, seeing how should both advance they play in the state semi finals. Then again, we've had to end up playing Paintsville in the dist. and then again in a Region championship.

This is the first time that the Raceland schedule has had several changes in quite a while. 1A EKY Power Pikeville has been added as well as Betsy Lane has been added to the district with 4A Rowan as a new EKC contest. Our game with Russell is moved to early season and the Rams open up w / Greenup Co. while the Ashland game flipped to closer to mid season, where GC used to be. As always with the Rams. this is an extremely tough road for what...

Like Cal said about Baker, I had honestly forgot to post after this game. I liked the fact that they came out in this game vs. a team that they should beat … and took care of business, put Utah away w/o letting them stay in the game for 30 min. until they took over, put a team away. Johnson imo has established himself as the "go to guy" when a play, shot is needed. Washington didn't have that great of a game but he imo is another leader for...
