Well Newport should do well if they have the same refs from the Friday night game against Fleming Co.

I still say JORDAN FRITZ, you boys in central Ky, all you hear is Justin Burke and Will Fidler. You have media coverage for them because of the schools they are in. I heard a ref. say that he would put Fritz up against Burke any day of the week against any team. He (fritz) may get EKC or District but Im sure thats it. You need to talk to some Russell Coaches and fans and youll know who has the heart and soul. Who shouldnt be playing D, but is and has been playing with a hurt arm and still gets 350 complete passes in a game while scrambling for his life. Burke and the boys have the coverage to go with it. They dont play D. It takes an athelete to play both sides of the ball and walk away with stats!!!!!!

With that being said, Fritz is a leader as well as Justin Burke, he has earned the respect of his team mates and his coach. As fars as grades he maintains a 3.91 GPA, and has not missed a day of church. Just a good kid. I think its great that we have kids like Burke, Fidler and Fritz and I'm sure a lot others today that are being looked up to and are good roll models. Im partial to Fritz because I have seen him play and see the heart and effort that he puts forth. He also is playing defense about every play and then going in on offense. Takes a lot out of a player. Does Fidler and Burke have to play d as well??

Jordan Fritz, he doesn't get the press but should be a household name in the state. Put him on catholic and he would. Thrown over 2000 yards this season and 7000 for 2.5 seasons. If he had the receivers he would have much more than that for this season.
