  1. the phelps hornets played hard and had a good game. harlan has a good team and this was a great experience for a small school to play in such a great tournament.
  2. great opportunity for the phelps hornets to be a part of the wymt tournament. north laurel played very well and i commend them for there efforts.
  3. in the 15th region i would say also that robert gannon and charlie hunt, the boys from phelps, are as good as any. again a small school with players who are overlooked and very under rated.
  4. after watching the boys from phelps play in the wymt tournament, i would have to give them the benefit of the doubt. these guys can play b-ball and have alot of talent. don't count them out....
  5. phelps played a very good game all around. they stepped up and proved that they can play with bigger schools. the little guys from a single a school were never suppose to make it that far. congratulations to the phelps hornets for a job well done and for representing the 15th region.
  6. Everything in the school system is out of control. It's all gone to the dogs so to speak. There's no discipline, there's nothing. The parents rule the schools, the parents cause disruptions and confrontations at sporting events and the players, coaches, and the school pays for it. The parents causing disruptions need to be banned from sporting events, but this means........."little Johnny wont be back either......punishment to the kid because of the ignorance of the parent.....or the parent says well I'll just take "little Johnny" somewhere else to play....nobody ever ask little Johnny what he wants..leave the kids alone, you, the parent, have had your life and your chance, let the kids get along and most importantly have fun.......rivalrys between schools would long be forgotten if it wasn't for the parents remembering when. Don't put negative thoughts in your childs head before the season begins, just leave it alone and let new things begin. If a move is in the best interest of the child then its ok but parents need to lighten up and lead by example....
