  1. I know that going into district tournament play both Betsy Layne and Shelby Valley had the #1 seeds. Not sure about the other two, that could make for some interesting conversation.
  2. Thanks for providing another perspective because at this point in the tournament it wouldn't be wise to overlook anyone.
  3. Well,ONE that would believe that should probably watch basketball rather that read about it. You can believe all the hype you read about both Pike County Central and Paintsville, but the fact remains that Betsy Layne has beaten both teams. I can't really believe that anyone wants to play Betsy Layne, they are probably the most dangerous team in the region. Do you think for one minute that David Rowe was glad to draw the Bobcats?? Thats' OK, BL thrives on this position right now.
  4. Classic statement. The truth has been spoken. Watched the game last night shocked that BMR couldn't gain control over the situation. Pugh and Bundy launched way to many shots and simply froze Slone out. The kid touched the ball 5 times in the first half and converted on four of those. He could have scored at will, truly the most dominant player on the floor. Not overrated, underutilized. My last words would be to Ms. Slone, get him the heck out of there. Props to Shelby Valley, suprised by the guard play. Good game guys.
  5. Sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. The Bobcats are not the same team they were 2 months ago, and the last time the Eagles saw the Bobcats they were minus a starter. Didn't see much offense by JC, they'll have to play better against Betsy Layne than they did against Pikeville to advance to the championship.
  6. Congrats to the Bobcats, way to play team ball. Keep that up and your on your way to Rupp. Wow, 23 assists in one game is amazing, truly reflective of a TEAM
  7. Good Luck Bobcats, let's take down another Tiger team this week.
  8. Both teams seem to be playing solid ball right now. I think Betsy Layne may be the hungrier team, tonight. It's been a long while since they've had a chance to clinch the #1 seed going into district tournament play.
  9. Most dangerous at home. Bobcats played a great game, especially Stapleton, Thacker and Kidd. Mag. Co. was able to capitalize on some mistakes by the Bobcats during the last two minutes. Keep playing team ball Bobcats.
  10. Justin Slone from South Floyd and Brandon Thacker for Betsy Layne could be added to the list.
  11. Should be a good game. Prestonsburg has the defense to cause some problems for South Floyd, but don't know if they'll have the answer on the offensive end.
