Sources are very wrong considering Haynes played tonight. He didn't start but was in within the first 5 minutes of the game and never came back out. However, Bellevue looses another tough one. Yet another heartbreaking loss, this time to Villa. I agree that someone desperately needs to take control of the Bellevue basketball program.

So true! It had nothing at all to do with Beechwood. Just so happened this was the night the team had planned their senior limo ride with the coach.

The reason for the limousine and outfits was because this was the senior's night with the coaches. I'm not sure it was the Beechwood game and since I only state what I know I will not contest this comment. Only seniors and Coach Smith were in the limo. It had nothing to do with poor sportsmanship. This is a tradition that Coach Smith does with her seniors each year. Let's not demonize something that is intended to be a way of letting our seniors know how much the coach appreciates them. I guess I should have made myself more clear. The officiating was bad both ways. However, Silver Grove came out on the better end of the horrible officiating! In other words, there were some noncalls benefitting Silver Grove. Bellevue didn't enjoy the same. Bellevue was called for everything and some calls that should not have been made. On the other side, Silver Grove didn't get called for some that should have been. I hope that clears up the confusion.

Fouls weren't called either way. The officiating was horrible both ways, it was not one sided at all. Pelle should have fouled out of that game, however. He got away with some. The Trains held jerseys all night. Bellevue has some players of their own - Haynes, Ross, Kesson and McIntosh. There is one reason and one reason only that Silver Grove won this game, officiating! IMO. I look forward to seeing the Tigers play the Trains again. I predict the outcome will be much different. As for Pelle feeling sore, I'm sure he is and I felt terrible that he took an elbow under the basket during a rebound. The player that accidentally elbowed him during the rebound did apologize after the game. It was the right thing to do. Congratulations to both teams for a hard fought battle. I don't know why people have to make such comments as "that's what you get from Bellevue". These are respectful boys and the apology from the Bellevue player to Pelle after the game should demonstrate that. This is a much undeserved and sad comment.

Ross is also a weapon for Bellevue. Not to mention Kesson is deadly with 3's. Good luck to the Tigers. I like the way you think!

Pelle is a good ball player, that is for sure. I don't know much about Wiseman. However, two people can't beat an entire team, if they choose to play as such. Bellevue has a few good players of their own. You just never know what could happen. The Tigers do play at home and I'm sure there will be a crowd for this one. Good luck to both teams but I am definitely pulling for the Tigers. Good luck boys, I will be there cheering you on!

Sorry but I forgot about the 2 girls on Bellevue's team. They also deserve a big pat on the back!

Huge Bellevue fan here, but I think Beechwood takes this one. Not even going to guess the score. I do give a big pat on that back to those boys in Bellevue who are not giving up and keep practicing and playing hard every week. They don't practice all week long thinking they are going to lose, so you never know....... Good luck to the Ludlow Panthers as well. The healing has to begin somewhere, folks.
