  1. I actually had the same thing with two guys at my house. I thanked them and acknowledged their commitment. Then offered to pray with them, they refused and would not even be willing to stay if I prayed to myself! That seems to make them want to leave very quickly. You might give that a try!;)

I would be surprised that Coach Rash doesn't have the team focused. You still have to play the game, but I don't like making excuses before a game starts. This team has been there and just like HHS, they know how to prepare for these type games. You usally don't see teams that have long standing playoff experience overlook teams once they get to the 3rd round.

  3. Since Calpreps doesn't line up & play one down in any of these games, my projection is that all three will be won on the field.
This was just some other insight. Their accuracy rate is over 80%. Here is their projection and outcome for the same game earlier this year. Friday September 26, 2008

Raceland (KY) 37 Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY) 35 [projection: Raceland (KY) 35-31]

  4. Have you looked at the Massey ratings? They have slightly different outcomes and are based on a little more fact, imo. I am not good with a computer (in linking sites), but I would like to see them on here, too.
The only thing I could find was the chart that showed probability of winning the tournament. It was Beechwood, Raceland, LCA in that order of the top three.
  5. Just for the record, these are the projections from Calpreps for the 1A playoffs Friday, November 28th

Crittenden County (Marion, KY) vs. Mayfield (KY) at TBA, 7:30pm [projection: Crittenden County (Marion, KY) 27-21]

  7. Matthew 24:36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father". I am sticking with the Bible. You know how many emails I get a week professing luck, blessings, and proclaiming inside info on all matters of life! I think we will revisit this tread after the January date talked about in the email.:thumb:

  8. You have to believe the three. He did leave the field on a cart, but was not helped in any way to the locker room. He was not limping or favoring any part of his body. He left the game to be retaped, not uncommon, and played as consistent as in the past weeks until the JV team was inserted. He played hard on both sides of the ball, till the end. He is an EXCEPTIONAL athlete and YOUNG, he will be fine. We all remember what its like, tape, Advil.... and oh ya,ICE.

With all this being said, I would still rest the starters against NCC, being a meaningless game. The first two playoff games should be easy wins, and still give them (#44) plenty of time to get in the groove.

  9. "Bellevue never threatened in the game and could only reach the Beechwood 19. Bellevue was led by Ricky Buckler and Thomas Barrett, who combined for 71 yards on 21 attempts. And quarterback Richard Wills completed just one of two passes all night". This is from the enquirer this morning. With the exception of the Beechwood team's slow start the score really didn't shock me. I think we will see close to the same results should they meet again later.:thumb:

  10. Over 92% of blacks support of Obama. 92% Hip-Hop. The rest of the country is divided pretty evenly. Who are the racists, Hip-Hop?

The article is so blatantly one-sided that it is laughable. For instance, lauding Biden's Syracuse law school degree without mentioning his extremely low class rank and plagiarism conviction, while at the same time ignoring McCain's graduation from one of the finest institutions in the land by only pointing to his low class rank.

Ignoring McCain sitting in a cage for 5 years, and instead noting that he allegedly "crashed seven planes," which, as the son of a Vietnam era fighter pilot, usually meant that they 4-corded a carrier landing or lost an engine in-flight.

Ridiculous. Who is the racist Hip-Hop?

  11. Chad needs to get a mask and cape, then look into a spot on the WWE. He would be able to run his mouth all he wanted, he could send his rivals pepto-bismol and win a nice shinny belt to parade around in.....Maybe a nice name like ocho stinko, or the MOUTH will be a proper fit. The only problem, I don't know if he has perfected his faking a tough hit well enough for the ring.

  12. Well said bigblue88. Really hard to beat 7 on the court. And as for a Hopeless shot. I believe that was a coast to coast lay up, plus the uncalled foul (watch the game film). I think every one is right should have never been in over time.

Foul? Alright show me the game film.

As for the refs, Beechwood was in foul trouble just as much as Villa, Beechwood is just deeper.
