  1. The poster stated "the Adams kid lived in Boyd Co. but played at Ashland" meaning to me that Adams lived in the Boyd Co. school district but played at Ashland. I don't know, after reading the thread I shouldn't have tried to use intelligence to decifer most of these post.

The previous Rose Hill administrator's name has been smeared in this thread by people who have no earthly idea what they are talking about.

The One Man took it upon himself to cast a cloud of doubt over anyone and everyone closely associated with the Rose Hill program therefore incriminating anyone who has been involved with the program in the past four years and he like myself has no intimate knowledge of the KHSAA/Rose Hill situation.

Are you crazy? I have not tried to cast a doubt on anyone but was merely trying to say that if their are problems at Rose Hill you could not lay them neatly at the feet of Tim Fraley. I made the statement that if their were problems at the Hill someone other than Tim Fraley would know about them and I will continnue to stand by that generalized statement.

  2. So your willing to throw everyone associated with the Rose Hill program under the bus without proof or clarification? First of all does anyone actually know why Rose Hill is being investigated. Is it an isolated incident or a series of events. Fraley certainly could have operated in a vacuum in an isolated instance.

I am not throwing anyone under the bus. I merely made the observation that I did not believe that all the problems here can be laid at the feet of Tim Fraley. If he alone committed violations which are now threatening the program then someone should have known. I do not know the answer to your question about whether it is an isolated incident or a series of events but I would not expect an isolated incident to rise to the level where it threatens the program. I would expect there to have been a pattern of events or actions, on someones part, in order to rise to that level.

  3. You have a theory? Something you'd like to share?

I do not have a theory. I made the comment that I did not think all the issues at Rose Hill could be laid neatly at the feet of Tim Fraley and JS responded that I was wrong. My response to that was we will just have to wait until we know all the facts. I find it hard to believe that Tim Fraley operated in a vacuum without the athletic director, the administration and/or the posse that ran the basketball program during that period knowing what he was doing. We are not talking about New York City here we are talking about a relatively small entourage of adults who were all intimately involved with what went on at the school and more importantly with the basketball program.

  4. Hmm. Since we've crossed this line, I'll go ahead and spill my guts on what I've been told, some first hand, some second hand. This whole issue stems from the former coach Tim Fraley and some mis-steps he took while at the helm at The Hill. These aren't allegations of wrong-doings that need to be reported at the KHSAA, lest I break the rule #4, because they've already been reported and are on record. Sadly, his issues will follow Rose Hill the rest of their days. I have no clue what will come of the issue with regards to anything punitive at Rose Hill, however, I hope that some of the junk pulled by the former coach comes back to bite him. Not only were things done to sink the ship there, I have it also on good authority that his ways haven't changed. Perhaps I should stop there so that I don't cross the line with the rules. Here's hoping that those who have done wrong get what's coming to them.

As for the kids, they will ultimately be the losers here. Shame that the sins of some infiltrate the lives of many others. Good luck to those kids no matter where they end up. Hope that eligibility issues don't arise from all of this if indeed that they will have to look elsewhere to play.:thumb:

Somehow I doubt that all the issues being investigated at Rose Hill can all be laid at the feet of Tim Fraley.

  5. Sounds like you was there. So you didn't hear the music playing as the kid was running around the bases. Also didn't see the coach ask the umpire to not play the music as the plays were happening. Also didn't see the umpire turn and tell the announcer to stop it during the pitches and plays. Well if you didn't see all that then I quess you was ok with everything. All I now is that It was a good tournament and for the host team to acted in the way was SAD! There were Ashland residents seating over with Shelby fans and they were upset that the Ashland announncer was acting so bad that they got up and left even before the game was over.

I did not see or notice any of that. There may of been a time the music was left on while the announcer left the pressbox but it was turned off when he got back. I don't think any of that steps up to the label "low class" so I guess we will have to disagree.

  6. Went down and watch Shelby play tri-county at 12 and shelby came back to win in 9 innings. Shelby has a great and griddie ball team. After that they had to play Ashland. Ashland got on top early but Shelby got back in the game and took the lead going into the 7th. Down by 3 Ashland got a runner on and the announcer started playing muic like it was NBA game during the plays (low class). Shelby's coach went and ask the umpire to get it cut off and he said something to them and they stopped then a hit and music come back on. Never have seen such low class people in my life at a tournament that they were hosting. Quess what SHELBY BEAT THEM AND THEN THEY WOULD NOT EVEN PLAY SOMETHING FOR THE VICTORY! Carma is good thing. It is a very nice park and would love to go back. Shelby plays Danville Monday at 11 for the championship and have to beat 2 games.

Are you kidding me? All the announcer was doing was announcing the kids names who were coming to bat. Some people take offense at the strangest things. So it is low class now to announce a batters name in a baseball game in something other than a monotone way. Now batting Josh PANCAKE! Oops cant do that.
