He had serious game, but he was talking like having sex was like smoking cigarettes or drinking a beer. "Well, just one more and I will go home" is a quote I remember. THAT is a problem.

No Eric Milton anyone?

I am actually going to do a project on Barry Larkin for a class of mine. It is a class about commemoration and I am going to do an exhibit, short video, and hall of fame acceptance speech for him.

Personally, I think all frats or fraternitys, or whatever you want to call them, are stupid and a waste of time. I really don't understand the purpose of having them, other than for people who are too scared or don't know how to be independent.
No matter what your opinion is, there is no need to insult just because it is not for you... Saying just because you are greek you are "too scared or don't know how to be independent" is uncalled for. Sterotyping a group of people, no matter what, is bad.

I never said all fraternities haze.
The frat life was never for me though, regardless of hazing.
I was just stating that I was never hazed. Fraternities have that reputation, I was just saying that I was proud that I was never.

Are you kidding? he didn't have a dog in the hunt, you try going out of your home state and watching a high school game of two teams you could care less about. If I was him I would rather be chilling back at the Lodge resting up for Friday, that's why was wondering why he was there.
I would not be bored, I can tell you that. Even if I have no clue who is who, a game that intense and an atmosphere like that would excite me no matter who was playing.

Some of the things people do to get into a fraternity amaze me. Some of the hazing ideas those in a fraternity come up with amaze me as well.
Not all fraternities haze, I can attest to that. I am in a non hazing fraternity, and I can tell you that not once as a pledge was I forced to do something.

NOTHING is ever heard of the good things fraternities do, it is all stupid stuff like this. That is what gives fraternities bad names. To truely understand what a fraternity is about, you have to be in one, hands down. The people responsible for this should be seriously reviewed and probably kicked out of the chapter, if they do not lose their charter. One stupid thing messes up everything for everyone.

If they make a playoff run, they HAVE to have Volquez back. Any timetable for him?

He came with GRC graduate Andrew Rogers who is now a trainer/assistant something for the UK men's basketball team. Others were with them as well, just don't know who they were besides Darius.
I don't know how, but Cousins looked bored out of his mind all game long. I looked over and he was playing with his watch or something of that nature. With that atmosphere and that good of game, how can you be bored?!

This was one of the best high school games I have seen in a long while. With the atmosphere being phenominal, both teams playing off the crowd, both teams hitting BIG shots, all the players hyped, it was a perfect storm for a great game. All I can say is that Coach O'Hearn coached a heck of a game! He took Stenzel out of the game, and eliminated GRC down low by spreading out the floor on offense so the big men Rogers and Zollo would not block shots all night long. Give credit for Mason County players for hitting shots. Setty hit a couple key shots, Gilbert and Lang were great offensively and defensively all night long, and Mason's roll players stepped up bit on defense and the boards. Mason came to play, and were well coached.

Hopefully they will meet with all 3 of the receivers just haven't contacted Marshall yet.
-
This means that they have decided to persue him instead of TO and Marshall IMO. Bad decision, but this means we get to keep our first round pick, but I would still like Marshall instead.
-
This, IMO, would take the Bengals over the hump to title contender. Last year it seemed Carson was forcing it to Chad because he didn't trust the other receivers, and rightly so. This would stretch the field, and Benson would be even more effective. Just need a safety, and if Roy Williams can give them anything next year if he is still on the team COULD be an elite team. If they will be or not is another question, but they could be.

With the talk of who the Bengals should sign in Free Agency, who should the Bengals go after in the Draft? I think they need S, TE, WR, OL, CB. Some players that might be available in the first would be...
Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
Taylor Mays, S, USC
Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State
Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois
Earl Thomas, S, Texas
Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
Joe Haden, CB, Florida (fell because of 40 time)
Who do you think the Bengals will draft?
-
This is what I want at least...
1. Brandon Marshall
2. Darren Sproles
3. Darren Sharper

Knight knows more about X's and O's than ANY person that is not a successful coach. If you follow basketball closely or not, you will not know X's and O's like he does. That being said, I have him on ESPN.
-
If they don't break up Parvati and Russell, they will eventually take over. The perfect, evil combination.
-
Knights of Columbus in Maysville is pretty good.
-
Good chance Marshall might be getting cut.
That would be the perfect sign.

Bledsoe's Status?
in College Basketball
Posted
Bledsoe needs to stay another year, and so does Orton. Calipari will preach this to them. He is known in the past for his unbiased opinion and advising kids to do what is truly best, and I think he will tell them both to stay.
