Corey Hunley of Campbell County. Probably the fastest noseguard in Northern Kentucky.

I realize there's only a few teams still playing but who is looking good?
-
The reason why there is no pitch restriction for fastpitch is because the mechanics of a windmill pitcher is a natural mechanic of the shoulder and so there is less stress on the shoulder/elbow. There are many pitchers in the college ranks that pitch every game (doubleheaders) and then pitch every game in a tournament without having any arm injury.
Than why is it so many pitchers have ruined their rotator cuffs?

I wouldn't say that CCHS overachieved. We shouldn't have lost to them in the first round, but they definitely didn't overachieve. I'm pretty sure they returned 4 starters and only managed to go 12-12 heading into the tourney. I looked on the KHSAA website and saw they only beat one school all season long who ended the season with a winning record. That's not exactly what I call overachieving. It sounds like they also blew a huge lead against Brossart the first time they played. Now look at Scott's record. WE UNDERACHIEVED!!!
Beating Scott was a game they were supposed to win. Compared to last years loss in the first round and coming back to become district champs is pretty impressive. Yes, last year they underachieved but this year they managed to be Brossart who they haven't beaten in quite some time, and Bracken who they've lost to the past two years. They didn't overachieve the way some would say is impressive but coming back from how they played the past years they did much better.

Yeah he's still a big boy, 6'2 about 275

Yes Nick O'day is till playing football for the camels. He's an incoming Senior.

I'm surprised! I don't really know Elizabethtown well at all but I saw Wayne Co. play at the Clark Co. tournament and they shot the lights out. Way to go Elizabethtown!

Who scored for PC?

Campbell is much improved? Didn't they just get rolled by Dixie by 4 TDs?
With one of our best players coming in hurt, then two more getting injured early on and out for the rest of the game. I think all should be back playing tonight.:thumb:

I've been to games across the state and have been surprised by many. Who do you think has the best fans?

Saw the CC girls at TMC in the summer. I thought they looked good and had good numbers participating. I remember one guard that was a real scrapper, I believe her last name is Mounce. What grade is she this year?
She's a junior.
-
Who is Campbell County losing for this year? Off the top of my head, I can think of 3 juniors coming back, who will definitely make an impact. Kitchen, White and Bowling? I am sure there are others on the team that will make an impact as well. IMO, when girls become sophmores and juniors, sometimes they tend to weed out the other sport or sports, that they are playing, and try to put the focus on one sport, especially if they would want to play that sport in college.
Campbell lost 2 seniors from last year, Caitlin Cigolotti and Mellissa Lewis. Cigolotti, who started all but one game last year and Mellissa, who didn't get much playing time due to a knee injury. They have three seniors this coming season: Lynlee Hertzenberg, Kristin White, and Alex Baker. All three have started most of the past two seasons game's. This year should be interesting.

I believe Bustle threw 7 interceptions tonight.
(Addie -3, Porter-2, Bishop-1,Kidwell-1)
Another great game by the Camel Defense who shut down Ponzer.
On the other side of the ball the Camels threw all over the SK defense. The Camel offense spread the ball around to a variety of recievers. I think Eshman ended up with 3 TD passes.
Not positive but I think Addie only had two. But I know Weatherby had one also.

How will they do?
-
Campbell beat Highlands last night didn't they?
-
I think if this was played at T/C the score would be closer.
Campbell Co should win by at least 14
Campbell Co. 24
T/C 14
Close! 28-14
Go Camels!

Good start Coach Styer! I missed the game but all reports had Camels extremely strong on defense, better and will be effective on offense just not its Ace in the Hole yet. A tall kid named Studer made a huge difference. Was told the field was the best it has ever been in its entire history. With that, hats off and thank you to past AD, Joe Roberts. He took heat for starting the project and now few years later, big difference. I think the rankings will change big in the Camels favor over the coming season.
Joe Roberts tar idea ruined the Camels field. The school had to vacuum out all the tar because it was sufficating the grass's roots. After the field's grass died, they planted Bermuda grass. That's why it looks as good as it does.

What about the Camels? I heard their offense is much better this year especially with Eten moving to tight end and d-back. Coaching staff is impressive also.

Who do you think will win?
-
Who do you think are the best players and what position?

Campbell beat Scott tonight 5-3. It was a close game with the Eagles leading 2-0 coming into the third but the camels came back.
-
Agreed. The Camels really weren't themselves tonight. After making a pitching change in the second and then again in the fifth it just wasn't there night. Good game Eagles.
-
Lloyd is ranked number one in the Enquire and Scott tied for two. I think Campbell should be a real comptetitor. They started out 4-0 and play Scott Friday.

The team looks sharper every week. It was good to see the win with very few penalties. Lots of good impact too. It looked like a TEAM effort.
