#11 played for the Spartans so did # 62. Nice jobs n.k.y.f.l. as all the kids start.
I forgot one. #20 Peter Fields also was a Raider. He plays receiver and safety.
-
Ben Owens #32 played for raiders.
Ethan Harrison #26 played for raiders
Brandon Johnson #75 played for raiders.

From BK's Twitter account.
"I'm just in NYC for the Hall of Fame dinner. No interview today- Believe ME."
Someone said on the radio that someone hacked into Brian Kelly's Twitter and wrote that. Is this true?

I'll take the CATS by 21.:ylsuper:

Either the rules changed, or the officiating has gotten better.
LOL

Does the Lloyd game start at 4:30 or at 7:00pm?
5PM @ Newport:thumb:

JBWill I'm a former Beechwood player, fan and graduate. I was just stating that the 92 Cov Cath team was loaded that year. I have a question for CCH fans who was the NG or NT on that Cov Cath team that year? I know he was a senior. I think his first name was John. This guy was nuts.

I'll be there in full force. GO CATS!!!!!:flame:

I haven't seen a thread on this game yet. Any info?
-
Great. Another running clock game.

 Bald is beautiful, eh ref96?
Tackling by the hair is not illegal. I suppose that a holding (by the hair) foul could possibly occur, and a personal foul for unnecessary roughness could also occur. (Insert giggling referee announcement here). But there are no special provisions for "luxurious, flowing coiffeurs".
its great:thumb:

It is legal.

I prefer to look at it like this. 20 months after a self imposed death penalty, the program is back on track. Pretty remarkable, really...
I agree totally but it would be nice to see them back in the big dance.
-
I'm hoping for the CATS to finally get a big road win. But I still will always pull for Huggs when they are'nt playing UC.
-
That was a very hard loss to deal with. I hope UC can rebound from this loss.
-
Ill say UC in a close one 75-74.:thumb:
-
Another big game for the CATS. UCONN is playing pretty good hopefully UC is playing better.

Thanks for the kind words. We really don't mind a little criticism though, it goes with the job. Most of us would do the "job" for free by the way, but please don't give the KHSAA any ideas.
I always read the BGP thread for the games I work before I watch the tape so I know in advance which plays I screwed up. It wouldn't be near as much fun if passionate fans weren't sitting in the stands.
I cant agree more. We, or I think I speak for most all officials, don't officiate for the money or the recognition. We do it for the love of the game. We do it because we are competitve. We strive to get it right, to make it fair, and to keep all players as safe as possible.
I would like to say thank you to 99% of the players and fans for another great football season. I am already looking foward to our spring clinic where we can begin to dig back into the rules study and see friends in the profession from all over the state.
Let me finish by saying that if you are at all interested in football and you share the same love of the game that we do. You might consider becoming a football official. Most all officiating associations are always recruiting new officials. Have a Happy Holidays, and looking foward to a new football season.
See you at the clinic.

The playing surface is bermuda and should be in great shape for the game on Friday.:thumb:
Thanks

What type of playing surface does MC have?

Was it me or was the concession on HHS putting some extra seasoning on all "food" products sold? What's up with the guy smoking a cigar in the concession for the entire game. Nice touch!:creepy:
Those CCH boosters really know how to do it right. not many places in NKY where you can get a grilled burger, mett or brat with all the fixins including sauteed peppers onions and mushrooms. Beats the boiled dogs or cold pizza served in Ft Thomas. The Birds have the better team this year but the Colonels are head and shoulders above when it comes to concessions.

Bishop Brossart always plays best 2 out of 3....
-
Any thoughts on Brossart's new coach Whitney Edwards. The Lady Stangs are off to a great 5-0 start. Acouple of their players are getting looks from some small colleges....
