And the two players' numbers were 21 & 33?
Yes sir...Mitch 21, Quinn 33
-
Did they actually go 54-1, or was that more a symbolic number?
10 - 0 As freshmen, followed by 15 - 0, 14 - 1 and 15 - 0 = 54 - 1

Highlands rolls:
No. 6 Highlands (Fort Thomas) defeated John Hardin (Elizabethtown) 35-7 for the Bluebirds' third consecutive Kentucky state 5A championship. It was Highlands' 19th title, which ties it with Trinity (Louisville) for the most in the state.

There are a lot of threads asking what one team would do compared to another. I used http://www.highschoolsports.net/defaultcal300x250.cfm?ct=matchup&schoolid=-1&spt=4&lvl=1&division=1 to see how my Birds would do against the other classification's winners.
Since they actually played JH, I put in the projected/actual score. Pretty darn close. As many have said on here, it looks like a Highlands, St Xavier match-up would be a barn burner.

Several of the John Hardin Bulldogs watched from the sideline as the final seconds tick off their memorable season Friday night, and when the final horn sounded, the finality of the moment hit them.

Januchowski will move up to start at MLB.
What a great name for a middle line backer. Keep an eye on him he is destined to be a pro.

Congrats Birds! EasyPro what would be your take on the game? Has your opinion changed in reference to the Bluebirds? I guess now I can say little and by the look of it you are saying less it seems like something mentioned earlier in the thread.:thumb:
Seems he was pretty close with his prediction.

The 2010 boys can be 45 - 0. That has never been done!
