Still recovering. This surgery is harder on younger people is my understanding. But has not stopped the new Head Polar Bear from getting to the gym. I am sure this has got to be against a doctor.s best advice. But then I'm sure the doctor does not know the passion of Coach Persinger. Speedy recovery Coach and best of luck in your new position.

Montgomery is the benchmark till someone knocks them off. I sure like Bracken's chances this year. This is as wide open as the 10th has been in several years. and I think Harrison is the team I'd least like to face. Should be some great softball for any fan !

Final from Brooksville. Bourbon has a fine pitcher and they just don't make many mistakes. Congrats to them on a fine win on the road. The Lady Bears need to regroup and get the bats ready as they head to Pendleton County tonight. Get that momentum going again as the District Tourney approaches.

Great win and momentum builder for the Lady Bears as they head towards District play. A big win over a perenial 10th Region powerhouse. First win against Clark since the fast pitch program started at BC is what I'm told. Sorry, no other stats at this time. Congrats to Lady bears and Coach Persinger.

In the 10th : See a lot of picks saying Montgomery and Clark. And by their previous reputations, deservedly so. But I wouldn't overlook the Lady Bears of Bracken. They have given Montgomery all they wanted on two seperate occasions. Both games were losses but could have easily went the other way. If I'm Montgomery, think I'd prefer not to face them again in the Region. NO knock to MC or Clark here, they have been the class of the 10th for some time.

Bracken wins 7-1. Advances to the class a state tourney. Way to go Lady Bears !

Was really disappointed that I didn't get to see the matchup with Tibbs and Jehlik ? from Montgomery. Both are skilled post players. Along with Kitchen, really like Paige Boling's game.

A big shout out to Ann Klee. Named to the All Tourney team. Just a hard worker all year long.

Congrats to Clark on the win. Ditto to Charley. Great kid with a bright future. Fillies were right in this one till Johnson's hot hand cooled off. And anybody in the gym was treated to one awesome behind the back pass on a fast break from #5 from Clark Co. It was awesome !

This was the best team effort of the year for Scott against a quality opponent. Tibbs did not have to carry the load. Davis really stepped up on the weakside when they were bringing the double teams. Benzinger had a great game and hit some big free throws down the stretch when St. Pats made their run. Pelle handled the pressure defense all night. Everyone that played contributed to this win. Way to go Lady Eagles on a big upset win.

Can't say it any better than that. Just thought the play of Davis was huge.

Congrats to the Lady Indians. Easy to see why they are ranked 4th in the state. Thanks to the Lady Bears and Coach K for a fine season. I've enjoyed watching. Truly will miss 3 fine young ladies that will graduate this year. Haley Ware, Chelsea Ahrens, and Alex Rogers are great kids that have been a credit to their program. Have watched Chelsea for 4 years and Haley and Alex for 7 years. Really have enjoyed watching them grow as ballplayers and young ladies. Best of luck to all three . Thanks !

I agree my daughter plays for Augusta but I really like that Rogers kid. She plays hard and has a good attitude. I was hoping it would be a better game but Augusta has been up and down all year. Good luck Polar BEARs hope you win it all.

I'm Bracken blue thru and thru. But I have a real fondness for the Augusta program. I probably attend at least as many games in the Den as I do in the igloo. I think that Coach Arnold and Coach Bach do a great job with the girls. And Robin's record speaks for itself. I also like the way the community supports the programs. And there is NOT a better place to watch a ball game.

Congrats to the Lady Saints. They were ready to play tonight as they have been for the entire season. They proved it on the floor once again tonight. Good luck to both teams in the regional tournament.

Congrats to the Lady Saints. Quit worrying about the score, Never known Mason Co to take their foot off the gas. The new Mason Head man will have the opprotunity to change that reputation. As for last night, St. Pat scored one for all the small schools playing the giant.

Lady Bears by two. Look for this to be as good a game as the tuesday night boys game. Just hope the scale tips to Bracken this time.

What's that supposed to mean? By saying this would be the best game, I mean that there is so much going on in this game. There has always been such a rivalry between the schools, and usually Mason just blows them out of the gym, but now St. Pat has the team to compete. The championship game will be great as well, I just don't think it brings the hype that this game brings.

Did not mean to offend. As it turned out, it was a blowout and not a real good game at all. Hopefully Bracken can make it a more interesting game.

I'm excited for this game tomorrow. This very well could be the best game of the 39th district tournament.

Guess Bracken can just stay home on thursday then and I can just save 15 bucks. Although I do agree this should be a very good game.
