Can anyone post Bellevue's schedule?
Bellevue has non-conference games against: Lloyd, Newport, Paris, NCC, and Gallatin County
-
I would have to mention Shannon Haggard, Eric Johnson, Doug Miller, Bob Alexander, and Ben Wilson
-
For coaches I would have Charlie Coleman as head coach (just based on wins), D-Coordinator would be George Floyd, O-Coordinator-Fred Bernier, Offensive and Defensive line-Dick Jones, and the coaches would be Baldridge, Pumphrey, and Swauger
-
Also who would be the head coach of this all-time team?
-
Being from Bellevue, I would like to see who people think belong on Bellevue's all-time roster.
-
I know, I know, everybody will be much improved over last year. Bellevue returns a bunch of starters and this year returns a QB that has some experience. I look for Bellevue to be ahead of Dayton and Ludlow. Brossart is the odd man out.
I agree with Hurricane.
1. Beechwood
2. Bellevue
3. Dayton
4. Ludlow
All four teams are returning alot of talent and experience. It will be an interesting year next year in this district

What kind of turf does Conner have? Coach Yeagle didn't stay at Beechwood to long after the fake stuff was put in. He probably prefers grass.
What kind of grass does Yeagle prefer :jump:

Beechwood--A
Newport--AA
Highlands--AAA
Male--AAAA

Speaking of Bellevue, I think Dave Pelgen would be a great head coach too. He demands the best of his player and will follow in the defensive footsteps of Bellevue's DeCo.

This is one of those games that is was unfortunate that one team had to lose. Both played extremely well despite the conditions. Good luck to coach Eckstein and the Tigers for next year and good luck to lickert and the greenies next week.
-
I never said they wouldn't start their starters. I fully expect them to start all of their starters...Yeah Hurricane I know they already play Beechwood, so Beechwood does already know them. But Im sure Dayton probably has a few new plays they might not have shown yet this year, and when normally they probably would open up the whole playbook for the Bellevue game, but this year I dont think they will. And for Bellevue their season is over after this game, as some people have said there could be some coaching changes in Bellevue after this year, so they probably will throw every little thing out there this week because they have nothing to lose at all. So with all these things that is why I give Belleuve the edge. But dont get me wrong I know Dayton is the better team, and I hope they win and I hope they win pretty decently. But I really dont know if they will for the reasons that I have mentioned....
Where did you get your info, or where as anyone else got their info about a coaching change? :irked:

This rivalry is one of the best in kentucky high school football. This will a good hard fought, hard hitting game, with a lot of pride and bragging rights on the line. I think the Loyal Cafe wins over the Dayton Chili Parlor.
Bellevue 18
Dayton 8

it should be a good game it all depends if Bellevue comes ready to play or not
-
Rumblings in Bellevue is that there will be changes either one way or the other. That could mean coaching changes on the staff or coaches leaving for other opportunities. That isn't all that uncommon at any small Class A school and given all the changes that Bellevue football and basketball have undergone in recent years is not that unthinkable.
Just like at every other level, as soon as a coach is not having a stellar year, all of a sudden, there are "rumbling in Bellevue that changes will be made", I know for a fact that as of right now the same staff will be coming back to Bellevue and I don't see any chances happening.

The Beechwood vs Holy Cross game next week will decide who is the 1st and 2nd seeds in the playoffs. NCC has got the 3rd seed locked up. And the winner of the Ludlow and Dayton game will be the 4th seed. Because if Ludlow wins they already had beaten Bellevue so they would get in, and if Dayton wins I dont think it matters what they do against Bellevue because I think with the tiebreakers as pnther4life said Dayton still would get in. So this weeks game with Ludlow and Dayton decides who makes the playoffs. So this game is going to be a real fun game to watch.
Ludlow 20
Dayton 13
GO PANTEHRS!!!
The 1st and 2nd seeds are locked. Now if Bellevue beats NCC tonight...Dayton Beats Ludlow, and Bellevue beats Dayton next week, then Bellevue will get the 3rd seed and NCC will get the fourth seed. So, really the only two teams in for absolute certainty are Beechwood and Holy Cross. We will all have to see what happens tonight, and the rest should start to clear up.

I would still like to know where you got your information regarding Ludlow's LB position....

That is horrible that the school system doesn't back all their programs equally. But as for forfeiting, I don't agree with it, unless of a death, illness, or something serious like that. If they forfeit just to avoid another beating, that is a horrible message to send to the kids. Regardless of the lack of support, or threat of getting your heads kicked in, the team should still go out and fight. Play the best football they can play, play with heart, and work on their execution, and hope that by some wild miracle they could win. But, by forfeiting there is zero chance of an upset, which would give the kids something to talk about forever. If every team in this same situation forfeited the USA would not have beaten the Russians in the 80 Olympics, etc.

I have heard that it was HC and Newport playing in the Frosh Championship
-
Bellevue 8
Newport 6
Bellevue had a great performance by their whole team. The O-line played a good game. Their running backs #23 and #44 played a great game. Good job Tigers.

To be one of the 10 smallest schools to play football....Bellevue is loaded with state Tradition. In the NKY area Bellevue has the third most appearances in state. Only Highlands and Beechwood have more. Also Bellevue is tied with several other schools in 11th place for having the most state titles across the state. I think this is an impressive state coming from such a small school. GO TIGERS!!!!!
-
Coming from Bellevue, I know that Bellevue needs Dayton to be the panthers, if the Tigers have any shot for the playoffs.

There are plans for a field on the Hill along with numerous other improvements. But that is years and millions of $$$ away.
Would the hill be able to support a field (bleachers, etc.)?

Bellevue and Ludlow have some good young kids with speed and talent coming up.

I have heard through reliable sources in the coaching community, is that Lickert from Dayton has applied and is being interviewed some time in the near future.
