I actually thought he was swinging the bat pretty well, right before he got hurt. Hopefully he can stay healthy and continue improving his stroke.

I am in Sanibel Island right now which is just across the bridge from Ft.Myers. It is my favorite area of Florida. You are going to love it.

Coming down next week for a couple days, hope to visit Sanibel.

Being in Ft. Meyers puts you almost exactly between the Marlins and the Rays. You can still catch the Reds in Miami a series or two a year, and in St. Pete every few years.

I went hybrid striped bass fisihing with two buddies at Herrington Lake last night. We intended to fish from 7-midnight or so. The fishing was so good, that I came home at 6:00 a.m. this morning.

 

I have some pictures to post - how can I get them to be the right size?

Seriously , congrats on the promotion, and good luck with everything. I'm sure you'll still be able to watch just about all of Kentucky's games, and as others have stated, you'll still be able to stay with us here on BGP.

That's what I told the wife. She had said, well at least we can watch the Reds next spring, and then I broke the news.:irked: It won't be all bad, I can watch Ben Revere play, he plays for the Twins single A Team, the Fort Myers Miracle. The way he's playing though, he may get promoted very soon.

You sure have away of making folks feel better. And yes, being on BGP will make up for missing all my friends a little.

I have taken a job in Fort Myers Florida. My wife and I are going, while our son finishes up his two years at UK. It's pretty exciting, yet a little scary as well. We have been in Ky. our whole lives and the closer it gets to leaving, the more I wonder if it's the right thing to do. It is a promotion and I feel like we may not get this opportunity again. We went down a couple weeks ago to look for a place to live and did find a couple places. Looks like we may rent at first and may buy later. I still have to sell our place here, and that's what has be worried. Putting house on the market this week, so if anyones looking? I was telling my wife, just when things at UK our looking better, now were up and moving.:irked: Anyway, if anyone has any experience in the big move, I would love to hear your experience.

For me it has to be the Bengals, Chargers, 1981 AFC Championship game. On the flip side, the most miserable weather at a sporting event for sure.

^ I agree wholeheartedly. I just couldn't believe after assembling such a stellar cast of players, that he would allow the roster to be turned into what it is now. Jodie would be a continuation of his terrible moves, IF he is taken 15th overall.

Jodie moves very well without the ball and will get plenty of open looks, and will be a big time scorer in time. Not a bad pick imho. Btw, who would you take with the pick?

Calipari plays within the rules. I'm not sure what the big problem with him is. Forde has been ripping on Kentucky and Calipari since Cal was hired.

Because he was so sure Travis Ford was the guy, and he was wrong. Must of hurt his feelings that he was wrong again.:cry:
