Can't wait for the Wolves trip to West Liberty.
-
Sure, I'll predict BC wins 66-62
I'm just pulling you guys chains a little. Haven't seen you guys play but I hope both teams are still undefeated in the region when we meet.
-
Lions fans seem to be in a lot better mood tonight than after the JC game a while back. Care to go ahead and venture into a prediction for the 21st?

The Cougars beat Breathitt on Saturday afternoon....get out of your CAVE!
I'll admit I didn't come out much this weekend. Bad sports weekend if your a UK or Bengals fan.
-
By beating Breathitt Friday night I hope we've gotten past the curse of the teams starting with a B.
-
Morgan beat them in the EKC.
-
"Make up calls" are a sure fire sign of poor officiating. I'll have to say though that there is no way I would do that job for the pay they get.

Fairview's win over Russell would have happened even if Russell would have been full strength. I've seen Morgan twice and I just don't see them being there at the end of the year. I think Fairview's Black is better in the post that McGowen. Boyd and Ashland have a shot of jelling into the real thing with their athletes. No one else has much of a chance.
Morgan has played Fairview this season. Check the KHSAA site for scores and stats.

Those ankles must be nothing but jelly as many times as they have been twisted.
No doubt and he keeps them taped up so tight I don't see how it's possible to turn them at all. This is a big loss for this team imo. Hopefully he'll be back soon but as of last night it was black and blue.
-
What's everyone's take on this game tonight in the Pike Central Tourney? Sidenote to this game is Morgan has a big hole to fill due to an ankle injury to D. Adkins, argueably our best on ball defender. Gametime 6:30.
-
Instead they finish 5th and 7th respectively if I'm not mistaken.
I'm not real clear on how you lose one game in a tournament and come out finishing fifth. 1st and 2nd are the only clear cut places imo.

Morgan Co. was 38-61 in 1997-2001. Since then a regional championship with a record of 105-30. Thanks to Mathew Perry. :thumb:

The shooting percentages don't match the scoring tally. Must have been some deliberate offense in this one.
-
The 16th has proved this week that they will once again be one and done at Rupp.
Maybe a little premature at this time I would think. Let's give it another week or two at least. I didn't watch or listen to this game but upon looking at the box score Boyd had a ten point lead going into the 4th before giving up 33 points in the quarter.
-
I'd have to see the shooting % before I could comment on that although 31 points usually doesn't equate to being shut down.
-
Didn't say I disagreed with the top two, just said that I am looking forward to them playing each other to see who is 1 and who is 2. Nothing more, nothing less. Paranoia runs rampant here!
There is no paranoia here, I just misunderstood your remark. I simply thought you were implying the top two were misplaced. No biggie.
-
If you have a differing opinion on the top two at this time you should feel free to express it. :thumb:

Does anyone have a breakdown of Beechwood? I really know nothing about this team.
-
This two could play each other
If this matchup happens this week I'll be making plans for the trip. :thumb:
-
I'll have to say that I believe this team is very mentally tough and will perform well anywhere. That being said it's still nice to have a couple of home games sprinkled in. The district is at Morgan this year so it would be nice to become accustomed to it.
-
I believe he's just keeping stats.
-
Matthew Perry, Chris Trusty and Joe Gamble are the coaches...GREAT staff.
Ralph Hamilton is also helping out.
-
If Morgan wins by 15 the problem areas will not have been resolved.
-
They appear to need work on their press offense and I'm sure coach Perry wants them to learn to close a game a little better. Overall, the difference I see with this team is they are much more unselfish than any Morgan team I've seen in a long. If this continues, good results will as well. IMO, Blake could stand to be a little bit more selfish. Definately a good problem to have though.
Morgan and Rowan game predictions

I won't make a prediction but Morgan better be ready to play because they will get Rowan's best game. On paper Morgan wins easily but we all know how many games paper has won.
