I heard he was thinking Ohio University a little while ago, not sure though.
He was thinking of Ohio yes, but Morehead is where he is most interested in. If it were my choice, I'd make him go to Ohio, but it his his choice, so let's leave it at that. :thumb:

My son will most likely be going to Morehead St. along with 2 others from Johnson Central, both offensive linemen Jeremy Curtis and Jacob Howard.

For Johnson Central, probably when they MURDERED Paintsville in the Apple Bowl 50-6. :ylsuper:
The most entertaining game for JC was the game @Logan, WV when they won 69-40 in a shootout.

Brandon Peters is extremely fast but my son has told me that Brandon has suffered an injury. Can anyone elaborate on this?

Considering that there are players being recruited for D I-A that arent on it, I believe it!
Just because they are signing with D-1 A and D-1 AA doesn't mean that they had an All-State type of year.

Yeah, Congrats to Russell.
Can anyone post the Large School All-Area team for me? Ihave no other way of knowing who is on it.

Matney doesn't win games by pretending to be blind to field goals. He is quite the real fair coach. He teaches his players that being fair will get you everywhere in life. You can't win when you actually lose. In the end, each person pays for the wrong that they do.
No recount needed, eyesight was 20/20.

Blake Johnson FB/LB for Johnson Central. This kid is a freaking bull at 6' 240 !!!

Where are the rest of the AAA Districts?

Ashland's Fields Davis. He is one of the strongest players on Ashland and a great tackler. He is one of the best if not the best linebackers in the region.
Davis along with Blake Johnson and Michael Tackett of JC.

Even thought his season is over, Blume was a game changer.

My son has had one of the best HIGH SCHOOL careers and he can be added to the list. BUT, I for one see the reality of things and realize he will not play at a D-1 college at first; maybe his junior or senior year transfer from a D-2 or D-3 college. But, I tell you this and promise you, he will make some noise some where.

With the way Shaun Alexander is playing for the Seahawks, he has to be the most successful running back to ever come from Kentucky. Bush may be decent in the NFL, but there is no way he will be the player that Alexander is.
As far as EKY goes, there have been many great running backs. Two of the best I have seen are the Belfry backs - David Jones and Doug Howard. Both of these players play defense in college. Howard went to Pikeville College, so he wouldn't be counted anyway.
Size is not the big factor to the lack of success that former EKY running backs have had. The most important factor is speed. Barry Sanders was a mere 5'8-5'9, but he was so very fast. LaDainian Tomlinson is 5'10, his speed compares to Sanders. The bottom line is, slow, white hillbillies just aren't made for great success at the next level, unless they are lineman, of course. Occasionally, a QB from EKY will find success, too.
I'm surprised no one took offense to this. Slow, white hillbillies?

With his passing and running, I think Daniel Pugh has laid to rest that he is the best QB in Eastern Kentucky.
I disagree. I think he is a close #2 behind Ian Holbrook.
