Campbell played some good basketball in the 1st half, but just went cold in the 3rd quarter. Ryan Eten did have a good game and he keeps on improving. He will be helping the Camels get some more boards come district time.
-
This should be a really good game and I expect with home court avantage, that the Camels will come out on top.
-
Campbell Can match up with anyone, I believe they will beat boone tonight and Scott later on this week.
-
Popp from Campbell County is a senior this year and will graduate.
-
The Camels wont lose by double figures. They will have there entire roster fresh for the game. This game is always a good one, and look for the Camels to have a little fire for PC picking them for there homecoming game.
-
Campbell will come wanting back at a top ten team that they almost beat. Also their point guard Kyle Schmidt, who did not play in the last game due to illness will play. He runs the Camels offence and defence.
-
In 4A Campbell will not be left out of the playoffs, alot of talent returning. Just need a few leaders to step up this off season and i know that wont be a problem.
-
Campbell is playing better ball every day, there be fine come playoff time.
-
I believe Campbell County could be a sleeper. If they have a few good nights they have what it takes to win the tenth.
-
In Northern Kentucky, Campbell County's stadium is the best to watch a game at. Id say even the best to play at.
-
I'd put Marcus Clines up there to, from Campbell County.
-
Campbell has a great gym to watch a game at.
-
Ill take Campbell in the upset.
-
The Camels defense will be very tough. Were the best this past year and will be the best this upcoming year.
-
Camels played strong, but couldn't get it done on the boards. They were out rebounded all night.
-
Great win. As i said on another thread Brett White, Marcus Clines and Kyle Schmidt had great games for the Camels.
Owens from Boyd looked like the real thing but was shutdown by Campbell's defense and fowl trouble.
-
Marcus Clines and Brett White both had a great game for the Camels. as did kyle Schmidt.
-
I'd say Kevin Reinhardt from Campbell County, starting for NKU.
-
Matt played inside linebacker.

I think Reitz cares more about playing "quality" competition than letting his team "walk" into the finals.
I agree. Coach Reitz likes to play quality teams and get better every week and be ready for tournament time at the end of the year, rather than play and easy schedule and be unprepared. Even in his own tournament.

They have Matt Sauerbeck listed as a Defensive End. Not a very accurate All State Team.
-
Braden McCain from Campbell County
-
Matt Sauerbeck broke the career tackle record at Campbell County.

Brett White is up against it this year drawing the best defenders and getting doubled on his baseline bread and butter move.
I don't think teams respect his running mates and key on him. Very effectively at that. Brett had two points in the first half vs Elder.
Brett has to be getting frustrated that the "dynasty" isn't panning out. These guys were 10th Region Freshmen Champs and were being billed as the "dream team". Here three years later I think some of the seniors are in serious jeopardy of watching the underclassmen play from the sidelines the remainder of the season. Andy Franzen was impessive vs Elder, played hard and made things happen. Kenny Walker put up 17, but gave up about 15 on defense, but he's a junior and will be back next year - who are you going to invest in??? Parks seemed equally as effective as Schmidt and Jonathan Verst seems to be lost in the shuffle.
Mike Reitz is a shrewd old fox. I suspect he is letting some of his seniors play themselves out of a position and will make some adjustments in PT soon. The Camels have a tough schedule ahead and only have two more weak sisters to beat up on the remainder of the way out. They come home to Boyd County then face Pendleton in two of their next three games , followed by Holmes and Mason County with CovCath looming on the horizon.
It could get mighty dry and dusty for Brett and Company over in the desert if some things don't change.
I agree with everything, except one part. I dont think this team was ever thought of as the "dream team" just a very good team coming up. I mean they won their region as freshmans, they just have high expectations. But I dont they were thought of as a "dream team".
What were some of the best individual performances in a single game this season?

Johnny Pop from Campbell County, rushing for 5 touchdowns agains holmes.
