Campbell County's Cody Owens has been one of the top linebackers in NKY for the past two years. He will have an outstanding senior year.
-
Camels roll.
Woodruff's pitching, and the Camels are playing some of their best ball right now.
-
Campbell County
Cody Owens senior Linebacker
3rd year returning starter
Andrew Eshman Junior QB
Andy Lay senior o-line
3rd year returning starter
Grant Rose senior Runningback
3rd year returning starter

As a Camel fan, thought the only 2 questionable calls were of course the push off in then endzone. Also the onside kick may have only gone 8 yards before a dixie player touched it. Malony is a good running back, but i was more impressed with the running style of number 26 when he went in. Ran very hard and down hill.

Dixie has been tough, but so has Campbell. look for a great close game, with Campbell edging it out in the end. The Seniors have been looking forward to this for a long time, lets go boys..
-
Having both linebackers with double digit tackles is a great thing for CCHS. It means they were running down hill and making plays at the line of scrimmige. B/c thats how Campbells linebackers are taught to play. The boys up front keep the big boys off them and they come down hill and crush the ball carrier. And Campbell has some great linebackers this year to do it again. Cant wait to watch them tear it up.

Actually very much a football fan thanks, and I was at one of the BC victories last year. Please READ the "s" on Boone County School(S) and maybe you'll get my drift--Or maybe I better spell it out for you as in Ryle and Conner along with Boone and Dixie; who you'll have to beat to move on in the new playoff alignment!! It's been great to see the resurgence of Camel football, as I always felt that the biggest question mark in NKY football, was why they didn't win more??
Again you still dont know what your talking about. the ONLY boone county school campbell had trouble with last year was Ryle. An sry Dixie is not in boone county.
-
I think that truth be known this is ALL just rumor at this point, and some of the CC fans who obviously don't want to see Brossart's five games destroy their field (????) may be getting upset over nothing?? Time will tell, but if I was a Campbell fan, I'd be more worried about how to beat Dixie and the Boone County schools; than where Brossart will be playing their home games, unless of course they're just interesting in attending the games and need to plan ahead??
sry there BGGreen but if you were a football fan at all, which obviously your not. Then you would know that Campbell County did beat boone county not once but twice. So please know what your saying before you post. Back to the rumor about brossart playing on the field. Campbell has never been able to get good grass growing on that field and now you want to add 5 games that has nothing to do with the school??? Im sry but if they need a field St. Marys has 2 or 3 soccor fields that would be a great place for them to play. there is no reason why they cant play on them fields, all you have to do is paint the lines and numbers. plunty of land already there.

#59 from Campbell County. Brian Sauerbeck will have a big year, look for this senior to lead his camels to the playoffs again. I put him near the top of the list of best defenseive players. He's meaner than a bull
-
Most of the Juniors (Kidwell, Franzen, Eten, and Addey) play Football and spend alot of time in the wieght room.
-
Im going with my camels by 10
-
No it isn't true. Dixie fans said Dixie would win it, Ryle fans were for Ryle, BC fans for BC, and CC fans for the Camels. Outside sources say Ryle and have said Ryle all along. Prove something.
Prove something huh, well just look at this site. everybody thinks Ryle is going to win. thats ok with us.
-
I don't think that's true.
come on you know its true. but we like it like that
-
yeah ive heard of both Ryle's running backs, and have seen them play. Boone's is better. Campbell will be tough on defense, they wont let them run over them. Two great teams goin to battle it out. The first game, Campbell wasnt playing there game, this game will be different. Both teams have gotten alot better. Ill take my Camels by 10
-
Ryle is going to run all over Campbell. That is a fact.
Ryle will not run all over Campbell. Campbell's defense didnt have the best night, but there alot better than that and will be friday night. Also Boone had a better running game than Ryle.
-
WOW one of the best football games in kentucky history. I knew it would be a war. My Camels played great.
-
Im picking my Camels by 10, it will be a much closer game than the first one. But a even better game. Look for Brian Sauerbeck to have a big game at LB.
-
RYLE TOOK the ball away seven times
No Ryle might have took 2, but Campbell GAVE the rest away. But that was a different Campbell team. There be ready to play friday
-
Let it me known..... this is not the true Rebel fans thinking. Everyone knows this is going to be a tuff game and at no time do they think that the Camels are through!!! Allthough, here in Boone County... we do believe our Rebels are up for fight!!! Go Rebels!!!
Excatly this will be a war, and a very good game. Although i think and hope my Camels will win. This will be a great game, between 2 great teams. Lets go Camels.
-
Didn't Ryle hand it to them AT Campbell this year? 34-7? Campbell is good but get real. Dixie beat them in a close game and Ryle absolutely dominated them.
Ryle didnt dominate anybody. Campbell gave that game away with 7 turnovers
-
No war about it. The Camels are satisfied and this is as far as it goes. 7-3, might be the best record the team has seen in some time, we can just leave it at that. Good season for the team and I know Coach Styer has to be pleased, he got them there, have a great winter, wrestling season is here.
WOW how dare you say that. Your just sayin that all boone has to do is show up. Well i hope they do that, Cause Campbell will be coming out breathing fire. In no way shape or form are these boys done playing. They want this win more than anything.
-
Wow what a game, to bad my camels couldnt pull it out. I have loved very call the coachs have made since they have been there, but that 4 an goal on the 1 in shotgun was not a good one. I would have gone under center and ran some power O.
-
Campbell has a big game this week over Dixe. Both teams are very good and it will be a tough game. But if Campbell wins i see them beating Holmes in the finaly week, and i see Dixie beating Ryle. Giving Campbell the #1 spot
-
He is not over the line at all. You guys have to be kidding me. The only thing he does is get the fans to be loud on 3rd down. He does not effect the game play at all. I have played there many of times and there is just no way that you can react to what the PA is saying and then go make the play for a lost or even for a short gain, it just cant happen. And if your a good football player you know this. I have never once ever heard of any body listening to the PA and then going to make a play, are you kidding me that just doesnt happen.

Campbell County's sophomore Joe Sauerbeck should be up there.
He has two All-Northern Kentucky brothers and he looks to be the same type of player
expect big things
