  1. Gonna have to take isome ssue with that latter statement. Matney won't run up the score on anyone. Last year was 41-6, and KHSAA stats have seven different players carrying the football (and only two passes being thrown the whole game). 2007 is really the only one that might be considered by some "running up"; it was 67-33, in a game where both teams had to keep the starters in late because neither team could stop the other. In 2006, the games were 35-7 and 28-21.

That looks like running the score up to me......

  2. Just living in reality, instead of some peoples dream world. I played for the Lions back in the day, and just cant understand why some people cant understand that there is a problem. There is not a single person in Boyd Co that would like to see Boyd winning the District again more than me, but I am also smart enough to know what I see.

Anyone know how they have looked in Summer camp? Anyone stepping up?

Oh I agree with you, there is a problem with the whole sports program! at BC.

  3. There's a difference in being upset and acting like a baby. Obviously, Cutler doesn't handle the business end of things that well. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets his feelings hurt again at some point.

Perhaps this season, when the Bears are struggling because the defense is in decline and Cutler is being forced to try to win games with nobody to throw to, while struggling to deal with run-first offensive philosophy in Chicago and the fans suddenly realize that they gave up a decent starting QB and two first round picks for this guy and start to criticize him...:isurrender:

    Just sayin'...

Two home losses to Oakland (31-10) and Buffalo (30-23) from late November to the season's end...win either of those games and Denver is in the playoffs. Cutler delivered 0 TD and 2 Int's in those games.

And again Cutler had no help from defense and no running game, Denver did not need to be in the playoffs they where not ready for that, however they do get some added help to the defense this year and then get rid of there QB?? now wht? do you really think Orton will pick up where Cutler left off H!!! no!, The best thing for Denver is to go get USC QB.

  4. I blame Bolin for this craziness. First firing Shanahan, then hiring a youngster then miscommunicating between the Franchise QB and the HC.

Cutler was not the QB for Denver in the long haul, he is too immature and thin skinned. His reputation was tarnished early in his career in Denver as being a Prima Donna IMO and never related to the crowd and fans. It was only last year when his illness came about that fans accepted him and then he pulled this foolishness. Good Riddance.

Did you see Cutlers stats? did you realize Denver had the worst defense in the NFL? did you know that Denver won there games because of Cutler and the offense, with no running game might I add, does the sound another QB that played at Denver for soo many years and won on his arm, then won two super bowls when the Broncos got a running game and a defense? would you be upset if a new Coach came in and went behind your back and wanted to trade you? without you knowing? DENVER MADE A BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  5. Denver has set themselves up quite well to re-build into a strong contender within the next 2-3 years.

Orton is a much better QB than he gets credit for, IMO. He's efficient. He manages games well. He's tough. And, perhaps most importantly, he's a leader. I think people are dismissing his value in the trade. The Broncos got a better player than a lot of people think.

They have a few solid pieces in place to work with and now they have 4 first round picks in the next two years. If they draft well, this team could be very good in a few short years.

    This year, Denver will have the following picks: 12, 18, 48, 79, 84, 114, 140, 185, 225, 235

Next year they'll have 2 first rounders, and one pick in each remaining round.

I like what the Broncos did with this move.

Lets look at the numbers of Orton and Cutler, and you say Denver got a better player than wht they think?????????????? WOW
