What has happened to the AD's of late? Has the majority of talent moved out of city limits?
If we could just "recruit" Rockpride!

2 seconds - Danville has the ball about 45 yd line. frankfort 20-Danville 19
-
Danville 19-14

I think Danville figured out how to contain Mr. Fields last year. I haven't seen them play but I can't imagine Frankfort would have anybody that can run like Robinson. He did the most damage in the second game last year.:flame:
Danville does not have the same personel this year. Bryant , Hughes and the linebackers played huge game

That was the word from E.J. at the U.K vs LSU game. Sounded promising
-
E.J. will be playing on Friday. Word is there will be a new stud that just got ruled elgible that will be playing also.

It would be awful hard to hire a coach now because all the coaches are busy with their season. I do think that they will hire one by Christmas or somewhere around that time. I would find it hard to believe for them to wait until summer to hire a coach.
I thought the new coach at Cawood would become the Head Coach at Harlan County.

Chase is a tough guy - accident happened Tuesday and was back on the field coaching on Wednesday. Lots of pain. Freakish accident. Should recover full use of fingers. Anyone that would like to send him a hello and keep your head up can contact me at charp@gardner-webb.edu; he would appreciate the get wells. Thanks.

I think Adair won by 10.

Actually now the voting is done after the State Tournament. The Lions Club made that change this year.

Also, signed O'Daniels from St. X.

The truth is beginning to rear its head here. Just how mad are you about this totally blatant rule breaking.

Brooks makes the call. It is an offensive GA with requirements to complete Masters Degree in 2 years.
-
Very obvious this person does not know much football
-
I believe that was the last time Danville was shut out as well?
Incorrect, Lost to Bardstown 21-0 last year

It is middle school not jv.

David Harlan #21 140lb linebacker for Danville! Last year against Frankfort the first play of the game.Frankfort tried to run the ball over there left tackle and David was right there for the hit.Seems like that play dictated the rest of the game! Anyone that was at that game knows the the play Im talking about!
Harlan is 5'4" weighs 128 lbs

Visions of things to come? Bate Bulldogs just played Boyle Middle with Bate winning 46-0.

It's very hard for a new coach to come in behind a head coach that leaves with as much success as Chuck Smith. Look at Danville when Duffy left, Harp lost the 1st three games in 1988 and for sale signs went up in the front yard, the dogs were nipping at his heels. But once things settled down, Danville has built an even stronger tradition under Harp minus Duffy.
Talent goes in cycles and maybe that cycle at Boyle is down - be patient.

RebelK - I think you have experienced what Danville fans have experienced for the preceeding 5 years during the Boyle string. Sorry you felt you were treated that way. Rude and obnoxious fans are hard to swallow. Fans should be proud of their team and accept greatness with class. Because at somepoint in time your team will hit a lull. Remember talent runs in streaks.

Don't know how many of you have coached a team before but you can have the best well laid plan(s) for your offense/defense until you put the team on the field. Talk, teach and practice but the players are the ones that execute the plan and if the player(s) don't get it, boom, it blows up in their face. The player is on the field and the coach is on the sidelines (not in on the play).

Athletic Scholarships now a days means academics, if you don't have the academics, no scholarship.
