  1. Augusta could play a perfect game and they would still lose. There are only two ways Mason County would lose this game:

1.) If they had to forfeit

    -- or --

2.) If the bus got lost on the way to Bracken County and with Murph driving, I just don't see that happening

    per·fect adj.

exactly fitting the need in a certain situation or for a certain purpose

I'm pretty sure a Perfect game would constitute a win.

That being said, nobody expects a perfect game

  2. Darius Miller wont take a night off in the postseason. This team is on a mission. they wont overlook St. Pat either.

I've personally seen them overlook a team going into the postseason. I'm not saying Miller will take a night off, but the extremely mental game will be a defining factor. The fact that Mason SHOULD destroy a team may be enough for them to leave the door open for an opponent. In '06, they were in trouble with Augusta at half-time, at which point they realized what was happening and showed the team they truly were. The mentality of Mason's squad will play a huge part in how the game works out.

  3. Mason County will not be able to take this one for "as many as they want." This will likely be a no contest victory to Mason County, but the Saint Patrick teams is not just a bunch of scrubs, and if Mason comes out thinking this game isn't a roadblock in their route to the state tournament, you may very well see a team struggle against an underdog on this night.
