I didn't see these posted anywhere except for the front page. I thought Mayfield might be higher but saw what they were losing in the preview. Russellville could be a team to watch.

I personally think that Lynn Camp and Somerset are ranked way above their abilities...There is no way they should be infront of Pikeville...JMO.

  2. You would have to be there in order to really experience the football that belfry brings to the table. The atmosphere is wild. I can't wait to see Belfry kick it off. However, I must say that New Cath will be TOOOOOO much for Belfry in the end.

Good luck to both teams. I wish Belfry the Win as they are a Pike County team, but like I said, I see NCC pulling away with the win.

  3. Coach J and the rest of this staff have IMO brought this program into the 21st century. So many programs in football(college, pro, high school,ETC.) that have had success in the past kind of get stuck in a rut trying to do what they know that has worked in the past but it gets to a point where it isnt working anymore for whatever the reason. McNamee was a Hillard Howard disciple and wanted to run the same type of power running offense, the only problem was that for whatever reason the big horses you need up front to run that offense were no longer there and it showed when we played Beechwood and Belfry and any other school that was worth a lick. Fans this year wont see as much of the trickery as last year, but the offense will be like that similar to what WVU and Texas ran last year. As far as the off season workouts go I need to look no further than my brother who has put on 40 pounds of muscle since Christmas. Coach J and his staff have made a believer out of me. I do believe it wont be long before were in Louisville on the first weekend in December again.

    Nice

  4. The man has had one season in Pikeville, give him a chance! In my opinion Pikeville couldn't have asked for a better coach for the situation, I would highly doubt that they could have found one as dedicated as Coach J is, Give him a couple years, things do not happen overnight!

I never said that he couldn't do it...why are people getting defensive? I do not know the man or the way he runs things...that is why I created this thread.

BTW...Thanks Farva for the info on the Copley guy...I have heard that name before and I have only heard good things from him.
