  1. Thats a bold predicition, are you kidding? No one from EKY will get that kind of attention unless your names Tim Couch.

Sadly I have to agree here, Ron Blume last year was the closest in recent years, and Grimmy has some big shoes to fill, he is similar to Blume, but he has his work cut out, he knows it, and we all have great faith in him and know he will progress as summer comes and goes.... as for those rankings earlier, w/ JC in a "distant" 3rd, and ashland a favorite w/ LC in 2nd... it is way to early for me to make any predictions.. However, I will say that the district will be alot closer than some ppl think, should be a great bunch of games:thumb:

  2. Does anyone have a link for the all state team released today? WYMT reported Ron Blume as first team, Ian Holbrook second team and Blake Johnson third team. Congrats to these fine players and all who make the team--I'm just anxious to see the whole list!

sorry the columns didn't line up here. Blume is clearly the best, I'm surprised there were few mentions of second place Dees..

  4. Lynn Camp makes two first downs after almost losing the kickoff. 2:20 left in the half. A penalty moves them back to 1st and 15 on their 39.

Sack by Mitchell makes in 3rd and 22, Scalf completes to Roscoff to the 38, 4th and 16, Paintsville takes the TO with 17 seconds in half. Pugh runs with 5 secs left, takes it over 60 yards for the TD after seemingly stopped on the 46 by 3 defenders. Collett PAT good, his school record 52nd of the season.

At the half, Paintsville 28 Lynn Camp 7.

  5. First quarter ends with Paintsville facing 3rd and 8 from the 44 (the first down came on a Wes Ward 12 yard carry). Still P- 14 LC-0.

Offsides on Paintsville makes it 3rd and 13. Lynn Camp leave wide receiver Lipps alone, LC coach notices it and calls time out just before the snap (Pugh did take it and complete the pass).

Pugh is sacked by Anthony Walters on third down. Lipps' punt rolls to the LC 29, first down Wildcats after Paintsville's first punt of the game.

  6. Chaffin takes this kickoff but is stopped at the 15. Chaffin carries to the 27 for a first down, next play another first to the 39, where Scalf fumbles but recovers himself on first down. Chaffin gains 2 on second down, 3rd and 9 play is from the shotgun. Scalf throws out of bounds. Punt on 4th and 9 from the LC 40. Chaffin's punt out of bounds at the 30, first down Tigers.
