I can tell you I coached against the Breds there in 1971, so it is at least 46 years old (and I would bet much older than that). Coach Don Snopek really started that program rolling and one of his early best players was his future brother-in-law and now 1,000+ wins Coach Mac Whitaker.
I was told that they used to play during the school day with student body sitting on the hillside out behind the outfield fence. That would be something fun for HC to bring back for big games.

I always thought Harrison Co. used to have a nice field. But I haven`t seen it for a few years.
I'm biased, but I enjoy being up on the hill, sitting on a tailgate and listening to WCYN do the play by play.

Coach Sims knows his baseball and gets a lot out of the talent he has in Carlisle.

#11 eastern is 1-4.
Run ruled by 2 unranked teams. Baseball rankings used to be close to accurate, these are a joke.

@Randy Parker
Where is Ohmer playing his college ball?

This game was a snooze fest. How in the world Pendleton County with a Dontae Allen lost to the team I saw out there tonight is beyond me. Hopefully games get better in the semis. Tonight's just felt flat and boring, can see why meeting mcpapa was a highlight for some
HC leading scorer was out.

This household is leonos or smashing tomato...sorry papa

Still, Mason County's overall population is about 3,000 more than Pendleton County. Don't know the demographics, but the school enrollment would suggest Pendleton County's population is much younger than Mason County's.
Don't forget that Mason County has another high school.

If it is an emergency situation and I need to get to a hospital, you best not be protesting that day.

Jim said according to Facebook messages or something but he was really excited on air, so who knows.
With charter schools and the open enrollment it will be hard to control.

The Breds improve to 5-25.
Pendleton ends the year at 18-12.
