I wonder if the same rule would apply to out of state kids who are attending public schools ? Teams like Belfry who border another state would need to have the same rule put in place for them. Out of state kids would have to be in the middle school feeder program as well. Would'nt they ????
-
I've said all along that when tourney time rolls around, we will be right in the mix. This was a big win and should give our kids confidence rolling into regional competition.
-
I know that I am partial but I really think that Letcher Central will be in the mix come tourney time. Once they get the chemistry down , they could be really tough.
-
Who will most likely replace Coach Prater ? Is there an assistant who will be the front-runner ?
-
Would Dudley be willing to come back and fix the problem ?
He went back to Bell County from Bourbon County maybe he may re-change his mind. He may be the only person who can help Bourbon.

This job has recently been posted on the KDE website.
Anyone know the details about this job ?

Could someone post a link to the article ?

SouthEastBell - That post was very laughable. You give absoultely NO CREDIT to a young Rock team that came out and dominated Bell County, instead you just said they played awful. News Flash, Rock had a little something to do with that. Bell County had already had the game won at least from the fans perspective. Everyone had Log Mountain all built up to be some sort of shrine that no one can win at. Not only did Rock win there they shut Bell County out. All week people were mentioning matchups, "ole' Bell County played Knoxville Central tough, no way anyone from around here beats them."
Just to let you know about Rock, not too mention the other teams in the district or tri-county area but Rock had an undefeated freshmen team that outscored their opponents 310-26. The junior class was also undefeated. The 8th grade team has possibly the best QB and RB to ever grace the sidelines at Rockcastle. Only time will tell, but to say that no one will beat them in the next 6-7 years is so funny. I thought you would be more knowledgable than that.
Sports4Life - Clay County does have a great coming up and some fine young men in high school already. Just remember I'm not sure about Bell County but Rock hasn't been any lower than a 2 seed since 1991. 15 straight years of being a 2 seed or better. That will be a huge flip flop from 1 or 2 to 3 or 4.
This district will be non-existent in two years. Most every team here will get moved into a new class IF the new alignment goes through. Bell and Rockcastle will stay with one another, while Clay and Perry will move to a higher class. Letcher Central will go with Bell and Rockcastle while Madison Southern and Knox may find themselves in a lower class.
Just food for thought.

Yes , it WILL be over early, the Somerset Briarjumpers will set the tone and smack you all around the field. You my friend have won your last game. The Jumpers are coming to town and bringing a team that can beat anyone in the bottom three classes.
-
Bardstown will meet Somerset in two weeks for all the marbles. I hope B-town is ready, the jumpers are for real.
-
We'll just see about that next week. The jumpers are coming and you ain't seen nothin like what they are bringing.

What are you laughing at ?

What Is The Score ?
-
Somerset will CRUSH NCC. They don't want none of Newell, Norman and Deaton.
This game is over tonight. Jumpers going to the VILLE !!!
Oh Yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Paintsville beware, Cobb is tough at halftime. You better make equal adjustments.
Looks like the winner of this one is going to Louisville. Looks like NCC has shown that Lex Christian is over hyped.
-
Go Tigers ! Make us proud.
-
How about some that don't cost money ?
-
Anyone have links to the net broadcast of the various games ?
-
Should not be a contest,
Somerset has way too many weapons. I say Somerset by 21.
In all honesty, Somerset should be playing in Louisville the first week in December against most likely Bardstown. Should make for an interesting state final since Bardstown has knocked Somerset out of the playoffs a few times in recent years.

who won ?
I vote for me,
Who else could have made the Karate Kid connection ?
I think that Guru could have passed for John Krese : The leader of the Cobra Kai.
-
I personally think that this is a picture of the cast of the movie the Karate Kid.
This was taken shortly after the Cobra Kai Dojo was shut down and all the members of the Dojo were forced to find another activity that allowed them to beat up on innoncent children that moved into the area ( in this case the Fort Mitchell Area). # 4 is the Guru a.ka. Ralph Macchio ( Danial Larusso). I can just see the Guru now riding his bike around Fort Mitchell with that wind tunnel hair listening to Cruel Summer by Bananna Rama....
What a time it must have been
THERE WILL BE NO LAUGHING IN THIS KARATE DOJO,
THERE WILL BE NO TALKING IN THIS KARATE DOJO,
STRIKE FIRST, STRIKE HARD , SHOW NO MERCY !!!!

I don't make it to one game and this happens.
We've got to get over this one, the district tourney is just around the corner. I rank this upset higher than the JBS over Perry upset.
