Us and Highlands have had some intense battles over the days.

Not to say we haven't but when is the last time we even played them!!

We have had a lot of intense games with lots of schools.. I never considered them an enemy...

I didn't think I was being disrespectful. If you took it that way, sorry. I just remember Belfry, Bell County, and some others that we played when I was in school and when your raised to play against teams that are your enemy, you don't really turn around and become a member of their boosters club. I have the right, and respectfully choose not to root for Belfry. If you prove me wrong, that's ok too. I just like good football. Hopefully, atleast you'll see a good game, regardless of who wins.

Enemy?? I thought Breathitt was our enemy.. not FT. Thomas.. I usually pick enemies based on teams we play a lot. I don't dislike very many teams.. None from out west..

I am happy for LC. I am happy for any team that does well.. I am all about great football. I am expecting a battle Friday. I don't expect us to come there and just walk away with it. We are a great team with lots of respect for everyone we play... We take pride in our team.. and I hope that LC fans will step up and take pride in their team.. I can't wait till Friday. I am so excited. I wish LC all the luck. I hope their fans are as loud and proud as we are.. I am looking forward to a good game..

I've seen Belfry play this year and in my opinion this Belfry squad is the best I have ever seen them. Yes better that the state champ teams.

I just don't think that respect for these kids and what they've accomplished is pity. I don't think you realize what a feat it is for them. I think Coach Scroggins deserves consideration for COY. You think this team is undisciplined....you should know the history....

Any team to make it to the State is far from being undisciplined. I know nothing about this team. I don't know their story. As far as having no fans I do feel sorry for them.. we are lucky to have the greatest fans... I have nothing but respect for them.. share the history..

Not it at all. I actually spoke with some of their fans(the band) and they were very cordial. I liked the sportsmanship that their team displayed on the field, I liked their coaches intelligence and use of the clock. He coached a brilliant game, Highlands just reached down deep and turned on the afterburners, it was over after that. I just don't want to root for Belfry. Honestly, I don't care who plays in the title game for 3A. Out of the two choices, I am entitled to pick who I want and I like Central. That's it.

Well come down here and talk to some of our boys..I am sure they will show you some class, and as far as coaches go, ours without question is the epitome of class... We know all about using some clock.. that is what we do...You don't have to root for us, but some courtesy would be nice..

Pick who you want.. thats your right.. That's it.

I know this is their first appearance... but if you can remember Belfry just won their first one in 03.. so yeah we know where they are coming from. As for their fans... I couldn't tell you.. With all of those BIG schools so close why not got watch Trinity or St. X.

You don't understand the cultural and economic divide between the areas of the state of Kentucky. It's a lot different from your normal state. We were divided during the Civil War and have pretty much stayed that way based on culture and economic status. Not saying it is right or wrong, it's just the way it is.

Not being from Kentucky I really don't understand this obsession with the EKY, NKY, Louisville, Lexington and WKY division. No wonder no one in this state can get a long. All they seem to do is divide themselves from each other. It gets to the point on here that it is childish.

 

In Alabama where I am from your high school name is all that is needed to be known. Not what part of the state you are in.

IMO .. JC is the best team we have played all season.. If play against JC tells the tale then we should have no problem... I know you can't really judge from that but.. I just have that feeling... I know nothing of Central and I am not underestimating them, I just think Belfry is FIERCE!! I can't wait till Friday.... I am anticipating it moreso than I was this one..
