  1. The game against Cincinnati Saint Xavier! :p

Seriously though... what does it mean for St. X to "be back?" Back to what, winning two football titles every 10 years while watching your crosstown Catholic archrival haul in seven? Plus, with T and X now being in the same district, the comparisons between T and X will only grow bigger.

When it comes to football, what is the St. X community willing to accept? Is winning a lot of games against KY teams but losing to Trinity most years OK? Is winning at least one of the two games between T and X every year OK? How about titles?

I don't know much about T or X football (I don't know much about football, period). According to a lot of BGP'ers, St. X is blessed with a great deal of athletic/football talent on a consistent basis, and if what's written on BGP is true, St. X often has the upper hand in terms of talent (vis a vis Trinity). It seems to me that T and X ought to be about equal in football, then. Why has the T/X series (especially when it comes to the playoffs) become so tilted in T's favor?

Beatty is a much better coach than Glaser.

  2. How bad did our O-line look? At the half Glaser said they were "getting destroyed". That says a lot because usually Mike will say something like, "we gotta do a better job"...

I only watched part of the game on Cincy X's website, but from what I saw, Glaser was not exaggerating. It was hard to tell if Cincy X was that good on defense or if our offense was that inept. I suppose it was a little of both, but it made watching the game borderline unbearable.

The defense played their hearts out, but they were put in a bad spot all night by the offense. It very easily could have been 28 or 35-0 at halftime.

  3. This is beyond funny. Every UL fan that supported T-Will and acted like he did nothing wrong. He pulled a gun on a teammate for God sake.(Allegedly) Deuce you were always a strong supporter of him and your going to town on Cousins is kind of funny. Throwing an elbow in a very emotional game doesn't make you a thug, it makes you immature. Acting like T-Will does. I'm not justifying what he did or saying it was OK, I would have understood 100% if he was ejected but he wasn't.

I am out of the loop; which teammate did Terrence Williams pull a gun on?
