Lewis and Morgan are way too low.
But this region is very hard to rank.

Will Battaile play Friday?

Will Battille play Friday?

Here's the problem with games being not as close as the score indicates. Greenup at Bourbon wasn't nearly as close as 34-30. Greenup scored on a fluke fumble recovery, was gifted a TD right before halftime when the runner clearly didn't cross the goal line and finally at the end, Bourbon was playing a prevent defense and Greenup scored with under a minute left. The score realistically should have been 34-10.
Greenup could have won that game. 24-24 and driving a high snap stopped that drive. The fumble recovery TD was inside the 20. That games was two pretty evenly matched teams. Big plays won it for Bourbon. They have a very athletic team but a very suspect defense. Will be exposed vs Ashland.

Did Pendleton beat Brossart?

Not much chatter for the game this year.

Good. That one slipped my mind.
A chance to get a couple vs GC and JC.
-
Name one quality Ashland win.

The 16th is truly wide open.
Lewis County could easily be in the top 10 as well.
I think Morgan and Raceland could contend as well.
-
Anyone have the 16th region rankings?
-
Fairview also had Alex Roy and Antwan Washington. This game will be running clock.

If it moves it will be Saturday.
They aren't playing when the THE Ohio State University plays.
-
He will be attending a private school in Florida. Who just hired Scott Humprey to be their new coach.
The school is a public school. Woods is not attending that school.

I like to call these "jersey" games.
-
Greenup has the best player in the region but has holes to fill.
Raceland returns a solid starting five.
The 63rd will be a dogfight.
Russell and Lewis with return quality players. Hale and Offut being the two best on their respective teams.

Brian Hall is the new coach.
Great coach and even better guy.
-
Gage Hughes at Greenup returns for his senior year.
7th leading scorer in the state.
-
Butler and Franklin well represented
-
Heard nine interviewed.

I had heard the setup would be losers of the district consolation games would have a blind draw (similar to regional draw, can't draw who you just lost to,) and they would draw the winners (or 3 seeds) of the consolation games, games would be played at the 3 seed home court, money would be split between those 2 teams only. Then, the 4 winners of those games would again have a blind draw and they would draw the district runnerups (or 2 seeds), games would be played on the 2 seeds home floor and the money would be split just between those 2 teams, the winners of those 4 games would then advance to the Expo Center and have a blind draw with the District Champions (or 1 seeds) for the final 8 teams left, is this not the way they set it up??? This way the district champions were guaranteed of being in the Final 8, a reward for winning the district.
That just gave me a headache......
