So last night after supper I started to get the shivering fits. Temp of 103.1. Uncontrollable vomiting. So weak I couldn’t sit up, much less stand. Quick trip by ambulance to the hospital here in Maysville.
Because of my advancing age and multiple medical conditions, I was given, among other things, the COVID test. Sixteen hours later it came back negative. No longer in total isolation. Maybe home tomorrow, but maybe not.
I did test positive for strep. They’re trying to reconcile strep with no sore throat. I’ve had multiple x-rays and a CAT scan. Evidently I’m a medical mystery.
I do do feel fortunate to have gotten the test and to have had the quick turnaround on the results.
Bless your heart. Praying for you my friend. Special angels are with you.

We met in December and lost by 2. I believe we have a chance to win.

We had Three players hit double figures for the Cardinals led by Jared Wellman with 16 points. Jerone Morton and KJ Rucker each went for 11, Lincoln Bush with nine points and 19 rebounds, giving him 52 rebounds in the three games during the 10th Region tournament.

I had the pleasure of assisting with computer statistics for the visiting team on the opening of both the football stadium and the basketball venue and GRC went above and beyond to accomodate us. I also due to scheduling and playoffs worked three games at the football stadium and enjoyed the same cooperation and hospitality each time I was there. Also remember I stated the first games at each venue, can you imagine trying to get everything perfect for opening night. Kudos to the school, city, and county for putting together something that will be enjoyed for years.
Thanks for the positive post. :thumb:

The girls were dialed in tonight. No one moreso than Kaeli Ross. She went off for 33 points on the biggest stage of her career.
So proud of what Coach Layne and her players accomplished tonight. On to Rupp.
Congrats. See you there.:dancingpa

Been following this GRC team a little since they beat Russell back in early January. They seem to be playing their best basketball at the most opportune time. I'll be pulling for them tomorrow.
Thanks :thumb:

They were nice but the boards were not used for the rest of the game except for advertising.
Yes they were. Every time a 3 was made. Also showed crowd, cheering sections and bands.
