Anything to report here? Sounded like a decision was imminent but still nothing.

All quiet on University Drive today. I think if not for the system being shut down today, we might have gotten some news on the position.
I expect something very early next week.
At least one coach has allegedly been offered the job and turned it down. Why apply if your not willing to take the job?
Interviews are a two way street. Interviewee should also be learning about the job and determining if it’s a good fit through the interview process.

Pulaski refuses to go away. This has been a much better game than I thought it would be.
35-28 Wofo in the 4Q
And if you take away the scoop and score and pulaskis fumble to start the second, it’s a lot closer. Despite the talent advantage, WoFo has played a very sloppy game

28-21. Woodford keeps shooting itself in the foot with silly penalties

Finley won the District when only one team went to the playoffs. They lost in the Regional to Corbin twice. There were only 3 rounds of playoffs then. Lost by 1 to an unbeaten Corbin in ‘79 and was blown out by eventual State Champ Corbin in ‘80. Won Sub-District in ‘83 and was undefeated before losing to Somerset, State Runner-up.
Gotcha. Didn't think of the '83 sub-district. So looks like neither of us were right on Finley's districts/sub-districts. You with a count of four and me two. So that would put Finley and Sharp equal in terms of districts with Sharp having a few playoff wins when the playoffs were significantly watered down vs. Finley having no playoff wins in a tougher playoff format. I'd say pretty comparable. Long story short, consistent success can be achieved at Russell but it isn't the norm

Well hey...welcome to BGP @Footballfan99!
Thanks! Long time site lurker and finally tired of not getting access without coughing up the $20. So bit the bullet and paid up.

The only period of consistent success was under Ron Finley in the late 70's to late 80's. He left there to coach Campbellsville. He won 4 District/Sub-District Titles if memory serves.
I'd argue there was consistent success under Bill Sharp that rivaled and arguably surpassed Ron Finley. From 2005-2013 RC was 61-40 (nothing too extraordinary, but above average) and from 2010-13 went 37-10 with I think three district championships and three first round playoff wins. Also, only thought Finley had two district championships and no playoff wins. Shame the KHSAA online records don't go back that far.
