Hard to pick Trents team, but I have a different feeling about this team. Maybe getting away from the “death matchup” for them (lost to gallatin county the last 3 seasons in the first round) . Should be very entertaining , I’ll take SK 77-70

Gage shoots deep threes. He would have zero adjustment to a college three point line. I wouldn't say that he is the best 3 point shooter in the region, but I would say that he has the most range of the teams we have played in the region, definitely the deepest range we have had here in a long, long time. As for @buttels hard worker comment, we were shocked when Gage walked out for the first pregame captains meeting as he had just transferred. It didn't take long to find out why. He spends more of his time in the gym than anyone. We're lucky to have him.
Deepest range Gallatin’s had in a long, long time??

Jarin Rassman last 5 games:
17 7 10
16 11 10
31 13 5
21 12 8
28 13 9
Kid is unreal. The Wildcats are 4-1 during that stretch. Doesn’t get near the praise he deserves.

Rassman goes for 31 points (15 in the 4th) and 13 rebounds.
The Raiders biggest lead was 45-32 midway through the third.
He is an unbelievable player and extremely fun to watch.

Trimble County controlled the whole game, taken a 7 point lead into the half and a 5 point lead into the 4th. Gallatin sneaks away thanks in large part to Jarin Rassman.
Gage Ashcraft with 2 big time 3’s in the 4th as well.

Final. Gallatin with a much needed game to put them back in the W column.
-
48-28. Start of the 4th

Hayden Dickerson will return after nursing an ankle injury he suffered in practice (missed all 3 games last week). Noah Brinker (who was also out against Lloyd) will return. Brayden Terrell (who was out Spencer and Lloyd) will return. Gallatin seems to have everyone back , but the question remains are they 100%.
The game will probably remain tight for a half, but I see SK gaining control towards the end. I’ll take SK , 69-55.

McAlister 30% and playing? Not sure why you would play and not be at more than 30%. If he gets healthy definitely will help Gallatin.
Not really sure. Maybe the rush of his senior year.

Weird game.
North's star center, Tyler Higdon, spent most of the game on the bench in foul trouble and was a non-factor scoring, although he did manage to score in double figures with 11 (unofficially). The possible battle between Higdon and South's big sophomore center, Ben Michel, never materialized.
South, on the other hand, couldn't capitalize in part because of a poor overall shooting night - from the field and from the line.
North had more turnovers....
South's Steve Simpson so frustrated with his starters' play that he benched them in the third period for some time.
North got another huge lift from sophomore guard "Rico" Carr-Cole, who came off the bench like a house on fire and scored (unofficially) 25 points. He hit 6 of 9 three pointers and all five of his free throws. Carr-Cole has now scored in double figures in 6 of his last 7 games and led (or tied) for the team lead in scoring in 4 of those 7 games - off the bench.
South was led by Seth Johnson, who tried to will the Dragons back into contention in the fourth period. The senior guard scored 12 of his team-high 24 points in the fourth. Johnson got to the line a lot, where he hit 10 of 12 free throws.
Unfortunately for South, the rest of the team hit only 7 of 14 at the stripe. Odd night for the best free throw shooting team in the region.
Interesting game - but like all North - South games, the intensity was tournament-level. And the game wasn't decided until the final minute.
LOOKING AHEAD: North will be the #2 seed in the district tournament and South the #3 seed, meaning the two will meet again in the first round of the 29th district tournament at Trimble County HS. It will be intriguing to see how the rematch goes...

What are the dates for that district tournament?

Well he got three if you count the free throw he got after the blocking call.
Wasn’t a blocking foul, big man pushed him in the back. Nice dunk though
Rassman still had 23 and is really willing the struggling cats along. Conley and Rassman really put on a show , going back and forth a few times. Spencer County has real potential for the next few years .
Dickerson didn’t play . McAlister played but isn’t near 100% , I’d say he’s maybe 30 % if that. Gonna be a very interesting stretch for the Wildcats.

Any explanation? What happened?
Honestly, a very good game by Henry. For every run gallatin had in them, Henry answered every single one. Once they got the lead, they never looked back. Pretty good game from Langford from Henry County.
