PTHS did get a good 1st round draw and played Marshall close earlier this season. The tornado could pull out the upset in the Semis, but not sure but Its been a long time since the Tornado made the finals.

6 of the 8 teams have won 19 or more games. I'm going with Murray, McCracken or Marshall. Looking at in region play they seem to have the upper hand. Mccracken only losing 2 games to regional teams. Many of these games were early and really don't matter but does show you who actually has beaten the big 3 ( Marshall, McCracken and Murray). You will have to beat one of these teams to win it if not two of them.

Big game tonight in 4th district, Calloway vs Marshall and I think it could go either way.  

I expect Miller to be POY in Region 1.  Plays hard on both ends of the floor, scores and rebounds.

Murray over St. Mary game close in 1st half. 

Carlisle easy win over Mayfield 15-20 point game all night 

Great view of the game on YouTube. Wish the play by play guy  would do "play by play" instead of cheerleading and call disputing. 

Regional Runners up in 1988,1989 and 1998. I get being a small school but they have struggled in the first District ( Fulton Co, Fulton City and Carlisle) all small schools. 

Hickman County was a traditionally strong program at one time. Nowhere near what it used to be. 

English, May, Wilson Carman and Jones back they should be the team to beat. Calloway hasn't really made any noise in the post season. 

Did the Watson kid already move from Murray? 

Good draw first game. 2nd Round got easier since Evangel got upset. 2022 Murray made it to Elite 8 and lost to eventual runners up Warren Central. 2021 McCracken lost to Highlands (champion) in Elite 8 and played them closer than anyone.   

I'm not sure, He was walking on it pretty good during the District finals. 

Looks like a Murray/McCracken final again for the third straight year but wouldn't surprise me to see PT in the finals. If McCracken gets by Marshall they have easier shot to the finals. Marshall could beat McCracken but will have to beat them with all their starters this time. Hart and Miller did not play when Marshall beat them at Marshall.  

Murray, McCracken and Paducah Tilghman played much tougher schedules played and beat good teams.  

 

McCracken is still without Conner Miller. If English gets healthy for Murray. Depending on the draw I would expect Murray/McCracken for a third straight year in the finals.

I would have never believed that any Region 1 team would ever beat Paducah Tilghman 16 out of 17 times according to KHSAA website.  I would (almost) say that no team has even a winning record vs Paducah Tilghman in western Ky. Maybe Marshall Co might have a winning record but not sure.
