Because it puts you up 10 instead of 9 in the incident that Highlands gets a quick touchdown, an onside kick recovery, and a field goal wins it.
Pretty sure it’s 38-28, so was definitely risky.

The nephew - I don't see that as an issue. The nephew will be fine next year without Eddie and his college prospects are likely decided by this summer. That has nothing to do with Eddie coaching next year.
So you know the nature of how close he and his nephew are and how important/unimportant it is to coach him through high school. Seems presumptuous.

Does Eddie Eviston have any interest in this job?
Considering his nephew is only a Junior, I would doubt it.

Michael won the MVP award among skill players at The Opening Finals.
All those WR's and RB's in attendance running 4.4's, and the TE is the unmatched vertical threat winning the award. Good stuff!

Good to see Hunter going back to the 502. Good young mind who was always great to be around during his time at UofL.
-
Is there anyone who can give more score updates on the game? Unable to watch or listen at this time.

Eddie coached at Norwood prior to NCC. So he has been over the water coaching.
Also was the OC for Georgetown (NAIA). Pretty sure better gig than any high school gig in the Greater Cincy area. May be tough for him to leave considering his QB is his nephew.

The train definitely seems to be on the right tracks now!
It was great to see Sam back out on the court too.
Was FOX19 or any other news outlet there to see the big victory?

Browns are easily the best job open.
Having another 4-5 great years from Aaron Rodgers would make Green Bay the top job. Cleveland is a close second with their overall roster and Baker potential.

I think he's going to be a very successful HC in the league (my hope is in NE), however I don't see him being a good fit for the Bengals.
Correct. Mike Brown needs a "yes man". Maybe Stefanski could work since he's so young and it'll be his first HC gig. Need to do something different in this organization. No real results from this era.

He made his own bed...
Guy is a creep. He never denied it happened. Also, Zip's is a far superior burger/restaurant.

Didn't CovCath play 4th round game away last year. Why are they playing away this year? Should be home field based on record. Be better and get home field. Pretty ridiculous.
-
Maybe Marvin can teach Hardy Nickerson how to tackle. Or maybe anyone on the defense. Or maybe get a pass rush going/bring pressure successfully.

This really makes me happy. I was never thrilled about him coming back when he did, but he probably was the best coach available at the time. Either way, Jurich should have never given him the pay that he did, but that’s water under the bridge and they have things figured out.
He was only rehired because he and Jurich are great friends/Montana boys. No one else (at a Power 5 program) would have ever given him that kind of money, so he definitely outbid himself. Brent Venables would have been a better option (and will be for this year). Thankfully AD Tyra is able to get a fresh start with both major programs. Also, glad the nepotism is done on the coaching staff. That was an absolute joke to the program to have those three on the staff.

CCH by a baker's dozen.

By #4??? He’s been noted to be offsides in multiple games.
It appeared to be #2, on the opposite side.
-
-
#4 has been close to blocking both Desales XPs
-
Newcath is playing very good defensively, but Desales is not helping themselves. That’s four drops now I think.
-
#4 in blue is a ball player
-
The way NCC is playing D, I am shocked that they didn’t kick a field goal.
-
That guy Kelly must really be something!! Didn't NewCath have a couple of Kellys a few years back?
They’ve had Kellys going back to the early 2000’s. Big family.
-
Maybe the most impressive punt I’ve ever seen from a high school punter.
There’s a good one going on in Newport!
Desales probably needs to commit to their pass game. They’re good on the timing routes.
Newcath probably needs to commit to the max-protect passing game. Catch the snap and throw deep to Posey or throw a slant to one of the inside receivers. Put Kelly out to run routes if you’ve got another back that can help in pass pro.

Nice answer by Desales.
If I’m their coaches, I’m revamping the gameplan to “throw the ball to 87”
I hung out with some Highlands Football Mommies the other night...

You gotta elaborate on that!
