What is really, really, bad is Bohn was not named in the top 3 teams which is a joke. The stats I posted was not Mayer's but one of the other 2 and neither is deserving. Bohn had the best stats, played on a undefeated 6A championship team so he deserves the recognition more than anybody else. Bohn, Mayer are both deserving the only problem was Bohn got left totally out of the first 3 teams.

Nick Bohn, Trinity

Position: QB

Credentials: As a senior — his only year as a starter — he converted 290 of 364 passing attempts this season, a 79.7 percent completion rate. That’s a national record, topping the previous all-time mark of 75.1 percent set by Leslie County star Tim Couch in 1994. Was part of back-to-back undefeated Class 6A titlists in 2016 and 2017.

I have seen 7 out of the 12 and Sizemore has been the most impressive and has been a 3 year starter for Corbin. After looking at his numbers over the last 3 years what is most impressive is he will be in the top 5 in KHSAA statistical category for completion % in a career along with a lot more categories. I just love watching the big lefty throw and run over people, hopefully he will play locally in college.

Yes, I agree oldercoach that the rushing contribution should be added to the formula someway. Camron Sizemore the Corbin QB is a good example he has good numbers passing but his rushing contribution and timely 1st down conversions in short yardage are as valued as his passing to the team. I wonder if they are actually another rating system with the rushing added, if anyone knows of one please post it.

Camron Sizemore Corbin's QB is a beast with the ball in his hands can throw and in short yardage almost unstoppable 6'2" 230 and athletic. I may be a homer but have seen him play against some pretty good competition this year and has stood out in each game.

The travel is certainly the killer, with that said how about this "Competition Class". Doesn't necessarily have to be 8

 

This would be great for the kids, lets face it these players go out and play their hearts out on Friday nights knowing what the outcome will be. These players deserve a opportunity to compete and win without being beat down, and maybe limit the possibility of injury's.

I like the big strong QB in this type of offence, it keeps a lot of pressure on the linebackers especially in short yard situations and around the goal line. Sizemore is a heck of a QB that knows how to find the end zone.

This will be a good one if the Smith boys play, hopeful nothing wrong with the Smith boys they are really good kids from a great family.

Great job Jacob you have made your family proud. Grades play a major role in scholarship offers from a lot of private schools and enhances the chance of playing at the next level.

Berea is like a 2nd home to me as I have business interest and family there. Hopefully they can assemble enough kids to field a team and win a few games, rumors was they may not field a team this year because of the stadium being condemned.

The way to a 3A championship will have to go through Pond Creek.

Beechwood plays a tough schedule each year, I have heard that Corbin is on the schedule this year if so this will be a interesting game.
