I know they return an aging scorekeeper that is still on top of his game!!!!!
Thought you were practicing some anti-aging regimen

A basketball trip to Kentucky for high school basketball would not be complete without going to the Marshall County Hoopfest that usually takes place in early December. It usually attracts some of the top prep teams from across the country.
Something that has been on my bucket list for many years. I'd love to catch a game in the western part of the state!
-
It's official. Welcome to the area coach.
-
Have a friend who has kids at Saint Pat and she said that they got a lot of applications.
-
This is probably a tough fill I'm guessing...the coaching pool is a little shallow lately down the AA. (No offense intended to anyone currently coaching, just doesn't seem to be a lot of options out there)
It's interesting since it is late in the game. Most schools have already made their hires for next year.
-
So I take it Oldercoach and Sumo are not applicants.
-
This could be an interesting hire.
Seems like St. Patrick has been a gold mine for coaches to move on to bigger/better jobs per se....
Jason Hinson - Augusta/Bracken successes
Tim Sullivan - Cooper 9th region Success....
Taylor - Fleming Co - 16th Region success and state tourney appearances....
Not sure what happened to Andy Arn
Dont know much about Taylor's previous staff with the exception of Hall of Famer Aaron Rigdon was there helping last season... Heard he has a son that is exceptional at the game, and hiring him "could" solidify strategically basketball success in the future
My vote would be to go for the alum, but they may look outside or hire a teacher for the school. I believe Matt taught at Saint Pat and they may want someone to be in the school building as well. The three you listed have potential to go onto great things are their new schools.

Tony...was an assistant Coach. I think he Coached Freshmen. He played at Maysville High School and at Ohio Christian. But I don't think he has any experience beyond that.
Here's a little info from Danny Weddle's "Courtside".
That's what it was!! He was a Bulldog!
-
Bath hires Bart Williams. Fleming hires Matt Taylor. Thacker still at Rowan with Woods at the point. The 61st district is stepping up their game.
Will be a fun year!!!
-
Short notice for St. Pat. I wonder if they will give it to Tony Moore on a trial basis?
That name sounds vaguely familiar..... Remind me who that is.
-
Congrats to Coach Taylor. Look forward to seeing him on the sideline!
-
Matt Taylor is new head coach.
-
Will they announce tomorrow or this week?
-
It is reported over a contract dispute. He wanted long term, they wanted short.
-
Does fleming co have any talent coming up for the future of a new head coach
Talent pool isn't bad. One thing I would like is more involvement with the elementary programs. That would be nice for the younger kids.
-
He is the favorite as of now
So there's the head coach that was mentioned earlier. Wonder who else has applied?
-
I wonder if there's any chance he becomes a first round pick after just one year of being at Kansas. He can always test the waters and then come back, unlike in the past.
Doubt it, but I would believe it would depend on his performance for the following season.
-
That is correct. Montgomery asst. Bryan station asst and a head coach
So you know the two assistants but not the head coach?
-
Brian Miller?
Thought he was coaching at Mason?
-
I heard they are supposed to announce it this week
That sounds promising then. Any names?
-
A good young coach that might be on the radar would be current assistant coach at Scott High, Chris Stapleton. Just throwing that name out there.
Have heard his name around here. Would be interested to know if they have set a timetable for this to be done this month or by the time school starts.

Augusta:
Brent Bach
Brian Kirk
Bill Kelsch
Coach Lou Cunningham
Girls
Connie Appelman
Rachel Hamilton
Dana Bach
Coach Vaughn Kelsch
The same one at Campbellsville?
-
Deming
Scotty Graves
Joe Mitchell
King Twins
Coach?
Would you say Larry Allison as the coach? I am trying to think of who was most successful over there.
-
Did you really believe Starns was there long term? He saw his opportunity with that talent and took it.
I didn't say anything about Starns being there long term. I replying to someone about FC wanting a head coach with prior experience and a track record. He wasn't there long term and it was obvious that he wouldn't be there long term.

Congratulations to this young man. Hope he will do well there.
I also want to know where they funded this and how they work? You hear about them all the time but I don't get how they fund them.
