I'm with you. I think when they see the better team they will have problems. Fouts is the real deal, but good teams will put the ball in play against them. We have played Madisonville and they have one of the best 1-4 lineups I've seen. Kaylee Tow is also the real deal only with the bat. We have also played McCracken and there aren't any weaknesses in the field or the lineup. I believe McCracken will not lose a game in state tourney. Madisonville has an easier road but doesn't have the deep pitching like McCracken. East Carter will get pressure from these 2 teams. East Carter will also also have trouble scoring runs against the better teams. I know Ballard Memorial. East Carter only scored one run against them and they are weak. I try not to talk bad about another team but a good record against weak teams will s show in the tournament. But I have been wrong before. I hope I am wrong for the kids it would be terrible to waste such a good record.
