The 10th may not be as strong or filled with powerhouse teams like it was in the past, but it has some strong players spread throughout the region, which in my opinion, makes for good basketball and entertainment. I wouldn't say it's sorry.

Both players played really well, but it seems as if you have a lil hate in your heart for one player. Scott has a really good group of players. PC will be better come February. As for Allen, you must've been absent from the game, because he did catch fire from the second quarter on, with the exception of the charity stripe where he went 12-21. When it's all said and done, why can't we be happy about the performance these two teams put together.

Your opinion is fine, tommygavin. There were a few questionable calls on both teams, but lopsided.

This game could've went very different. You have to credit Scott High's defense for causing 17 turnovers and PC missed 17 ft's. The officials called the game very well. You can't knock what Allen did. His team, not supporting cast will be better than most people think. Belcher will iron out the wrinkles. Just my thoughts.

Ohmer has ice water in his veins, put on a very good show, the kid is hard to guard and gets to the cup with ease, very crafty. Young Allen on the other hand set his career high as a sophomore @50pts makes it look easy, inside and out. Good luck to both teams this season in the 10th.

So you are saying this is what they were doing while CC was shooting free throws?
Can't speak for everyone in the gym. Like I said before, I agree that if something yelled out in poor taste, from an adult, it would be wrong. We have to remember that it's someone's kid out there playing. But you have to be realistic, you're not going to hear crickets in any environment.

I respectfully disagree. Mature adults cheer their team, and hoot and holler during the game. Students and immature/childish adults do so while the opposing team shoots free-throws. The mature adults I know show better sportsmanship.
I'm with you, there is a difference between yelling out negative things or even miss it. That is child's play. Box out, rebound, encouraging your team is part of the game.

Total lack of class @BirdBrain. Grown men and women hooting and hollering while a kid is shooting free throws. Leave that to the kids still in high school.
I wouldn't call it classless, that's kind of harsh... You have really passionate fans of the game in the stands, and just because you wouldn't or don't yell, hoot, and holler during a game in any situation doesn't give you the right to call someone classless. People pay to cheer their team on, it doesn't come with an age. Now if something negative was being shouted out I'm 100% with you.

Hmmm...Then why haven't they won all their games against 10th region opponents so far? I see a loss to Scott, Brossart, 2 to Bracken...
The truth is the region is wide open. PC has lost some close games they should've won. They can play with anyone in the region. Come District Time, the regular season is out the window, you have to fight to stay alive. Don't look at W-L column come tournament time or you may end up watching from the bleachers. No one team can be overlooked.

Moral of the story: Had Lofton played in the freshman tournament that year, Kirk and his team would not have won the regional.
PC has a Pretty good freshman by the Name of Dontaie Allen, just saying.

Allen never got into the flow of the game, tough night for him. As for the team looking him off, you're exactly right. It's hard to watch a game like that. Anyone who follows PC, know Allen scores within flow of the game, because he's not a selfish player. Some how this team has lost some steam and it has taken a toll on everyone. Season is far from over. With a few tough L's in the short pass, you still have a good chance to turn it arose . You won't fix the problem by covering you eyes, make changes for the better and find a way to bring you team together. #NOUGHSAID

Augusta had that fiery look from last years team out the gate. Allen's early foul trouble put them in a really good position. Once the dust settled, Allen got going, but it didn't rattle Augusta until late, with a few costly turnovers. A few other Wildcats stepped up and hits some key shot in the first quarter to close the gap. Augusta's played good zone defense.
