I sense that there are a lot of west jessamine faithful on here praying to the moon. I rate their chances at winning this region at 100-1. Good luck though.

I think it's a good draw for Montgomery and I'm glad of it. They are my sweet 16 pick. Go Indians.
-
The Commodores just had too many weapons for the wildcats. That's the bottom line!
-
The pole is a lot better than most but I think you are leaving two good teams out in Lawrence co and PCC. Either could beat Owen , Murray, North Hardin or Paducah Tilghman. South Laurel and Clay could do the same. You have no teams listed from the mountains and the four you have rated that I mentioned are not very good.

I like Montgomery co. 3rd times a charm.

I love this win! I have St. X on my sweet 16 card.

I have always loved the Knott co gym. Perry Centrals gym will hold around 5,000 also. I was in Pulaski recently and it is nice.

Possibly no. 11 had his left forearm in the back of the shooter.
I hate that everyone was so quick to fault this official. If u stop this play second by second or frame by frame Johnson fouls Blair as he tries to go by him on the foul line and his hand never leaves his back the whole trip. If u stop it on the shot his hand is on his back and he has his back completely bowed. I'm glad it was blown so out of proportion because even photos on Facebook from under the goal show johnsons fingers around blairs side. So fellows your jury tried to convict an innocent man. There was clearly a foul on the last play and I hope after you research a little farther like I did many of you should apologize to Dexter Campbell for saying he robbed someone.
-
Hazard got robbed plain and simple, give it up pap. Your a homer trying to convince an impartial jury. The jury all agree this was an absolute terrible call. If this was my team i would just tuck my head between my legs and be happy my team is still playing.
Sorry to disappoint you but if hazard would have won I would be at the next game with a bulldog shirt on. I know all these kids. Yes I'm a PCC fan and I stated that it very well could have been a no call just like many before that. It just happened to be the last play. All I'm trying to say is that Dexter thought he pushed him in the back. These refs are honest people and if they were not hell hazard has all the bankers kids not PCC. Lol

The official is a very honest guy. He called the foul because of Johnson who is #11 pushed him on the shot. Johnsons hand is on the lower back of Blair. Sure it could have been overlooked but he felt it was a foul. That's what he called the foul for. A push in the back on the shot.
-
I agree. Two Hazard players went up to block Blair's shot and Blair wasn't touched, and his momentum carried him out of bounds toward the TV camera. What happened was one of the Hazard players knocked the other Hazard player sideways on their joint attempt to stop Blair's shot. On the replay the tv guy said the only foul was Hazard fouling Hazard, which as we know doesn't count as a foul.
Regardless, Blair went to the line and hit 1 of 2 to win the game.
Great overtime game but one hates to see a game decided that way.
You can say no foul if you want but #11 Johnson has his hand clearly on the center of blairs back and pushed him. That's a foul and Dexter called the foul on Johnson. It was not on Frazier. Dexter called the foul for a push on Johnson.
-
If you guys can't see Johnson fouling Blair all the way to the goal you are blind. They may have called it on #2 but Dexter was pointing at #11 who is Johnson. Either way it's a 2 shot foul because they were in a double bonus. Johnson fouled him on the shot also with a push.
-
That's exactly correct hitter. Multiple calls could have went either way. I know all these kids from both teams and it's a shame either had to lose but to start the foolishness about the officiating is nonsense.
-
The Frazier charge was a charge. He lowered his shoulder and made the contact. If you want to argue calls all night there was a million that could have went either way. Toblers 3rd and 4th fouls were horrible calls. Frazier smacked Blair right across the arm as well as Johnson who fouled him all the way to the point of the shot. This was a tough game to call. It was very physical and hazards Johnson could have been called for an offensive foul every trip down the floor. You could replay the game an pick out a million calls that could go either way.

The 54th has never been seeded. It has always been a blind draw. I sat in on many draws during the 80's.
-
This game was on the verge of a complete blowout in the 3rd when PCC made some silly passes and turnovers which allowed Farmer to go on a spree. Perry clearly the better all around team.
-
Amis has his kids improving with each game. I think he will put the Bobcats back on the map in a few years.

After this humiliating loss, I don't know how Taylor County stays in the top 20 in the BGP rankings. They are 5-5 with 4 losses to Ky schools. They have yet to beat a top 20 team, and the best team they have beat is Perry Co. Central at the beginning of the year. I would lay odds PCC would beat Taylor if they played right now.
If PCC would have had Tobler they would have lost that game too. He is the muscle for the Commodores.
-
I would love to know the answer to that question myself. I am lost on this one.
-
I'm a Commodore fan myself but they can't blame this one on me I was well behaved. Anyway, I don't think we feel that we have anything locked up after blowing it in 2012 and 13. I do think we are double digits better than anyone in the region.

Mercer has the talent to contend for a state title but their schedule down the road looks pretty weak. That won't help come tourney time.

That's what you call Karma! The Lady Eagles were the favorite last year and Kcc knocked them off in the region. The Lady Eagles get their revenge.
