Dkincer we did the best we could do and played hard, Don't belittle the kids and how hard they worked. I know it is easy to type up sarcastic comments, but like someone informed me, the kids read this stuff. I know I made the same mistake.

Not belittling anybody I thought they did good job. We only won by 5... For the record my name is Dustin Kincer. I am not a player or a father of any player... Have not wrote anything in means of harm to any team or players... Have not said anything but encouraging words to all teams and players... Including Desales OC and NCC...

but I thought Desales was the #1 defensive team in 2A... :sssh:

Big difference. .. we were 65% healthy against hazard after Beechwood beating up on us..

this time we have survived 100% healthy an with a taste still on our tounge from that cold, wet, wippin in 05' the staff still remembers...!! The fans still remember an I hope Joe never let's his foot off that peddle as what comes around goes around..!

All true... I will never forget that state either... That was the last one Jray made it to. RIP Jason Ray!! We lost him 9 years ago on Thanksgiving!!

Had I known I could actually get support for this, I would have made it "get drunk and have a boatload of strippers." Live and learn I guess.

I was shocked to see the linebacker award go to the kid @ OC... Arnett for cards lead the defense with tackles on what has to be a top defense team..

I watched the entire broadcast. Yes it wasn't ideal, but the audio was perfect and the video was tolerable. Bad weather can do that. Thanks for your work.

Maybe Coltsby90 was interfering... lol Great game... I liked your color commentator... I think he felt the refs were calling in our favor... I felt the exact opposite... So I guess it goes both ways, because I am bias too!! lol

All I got to say is. You remember when the radio announcers were saying this is the state championship game against Beechwood back in 2011... Then we went to state and got stomped by Hazard in the state championship... Well don't be to cocky guys... We thought it was a lock then too!! Hazard team said they watched it over and over again, " this is the state championship and that Hazard does not want any of this bunch." So be easy with your post... I want a win just as bad, but this is championship game and NCC has just as much experience being there over last several years as us... Just saying easy with the cockiness..

This video was made by an NCC alumi And former Thoroughbred football player, not by the school. It just shows the pride for their team. Nothing wrong with that.

I really think that it goes to show... That NCC like Mayfield has a tradition running of winning with pride and they are proud of it... Nothing wrong with this video at all... I am a Mayfield fan... But what a great tribute to New Cath...

Really? Well that should go to show that this does not mean squat at all!

A lot of posts on here are either 1) people accusing Mayfield fans of being cocky or 2) Mayfield fans being cocky. And we are being on our best behavior, and the Guru goes and posts this thread lol.

 

I think NCC is probably feeling like they are a team of destiny. Dangerous type of team. This game has an instant classic feel to me.

That is the mentality we should have...

I think Beechwood handled NCC in a pretty convincing fashion, but, it seems NCC is always a tough team when it plays at state.. Not sure the Tigers would beat them that bad in a state title game.. For some reason, that game gets the juices flowing and teams often play on emotion and over their normal heads and NCC is one that seems to thrive in the spotlight..

I totally agree... People are saying its a lock... It is never a lock until we hear the final buzzer and the score is in our favor... For all you know NCC didnt care if they lost to BW and didnt want to show everything. Here is why I say that. Last year when Graves Co went to the state championship... Guess what game was studied the most by Pulaski Co... The Mayfield Graves game.... Why??? because Mayfield dominated Crider and shut down all scoring angles. Just a valid point... It is not like NCC lost other games to just no name little schools... They lost to Conner and Scott BW and I forget the other 2 but they play a tough schedule. Its not like we are playing Fairview who rushed for however many yards it was against a week schedule... Heck a good pee wee team from the school of the blind could be carter east and carter west... NCC has played some great teams... They are not to be overlooked... In fact I watched Danville play this year... They were fast hit hard had great athletes and was in shock when I heard the final score.... Mayfield will not under estimate this game... They will prepare just as if they are playing top seeded SEC team for a National Championship. Coach Dew is for sure very aware of the capabilities of what could happen. He will take control of the defense and they will be the deciding factor in the ballgame just as they were last couple weeks...

As far as anybody knows, NCC maybe holding out their whole season for a big surprise. Mayfield is not going into this thinking we got this. That is not a smart move... Mayfield knows that any team on any day can win on any field. NCC is there for a reason and has been there for a reason... If you do not think they are capable of knocking off us your crazier and then I am... I am pretty crazy... Mayfield will prepare for the game of their lives. They want the title and will prepare for this game as if they were playing The Crimson Tide. I for one take my hats off to NCC for winning the east and wish them the best!! may the best team win!! GO MAYFIELD

Chuck McClure is a good friend of mine... First time I met him... He said glad you guys moved back to 2a... I really wanted this for him... He wanted it so so bad for his kids and his community. I had a chance to travel to watch the Paris game... Kash is a great contributor to the team of course... He is one guy though... The rest of team does allot too... Congrats to Pikeville good luck in the state championship... We made back to the finals again but in 2a so you will see Beechwood this year not us... Congrats to Paintsville on a great season... Work hard in the off season and see you next year...

When is the game??

Ok at the end of the Mic'ed up with Joe Morris, it shows game time is 7pm on Dec 6th??? Is that an error for the time?? I thought the game was at 1pm on the 6th

It has been pointed out numerous times, Thunder1 is NOT a Danville fan. He is the one who brought that stuff up. I haven't seen an Ad fan say anything like that on here.

 

So don't play the sore losers card on the ads.

Correct, but not until after I asked... I doubt Danville would be? They seemed to always take losses well..

He causes lots of disturbances in the line thats for sure... I hope he has a great career... Now on the contrary I believe Danville over looked many others as well. For NCC made right plays at the right time. I cant say that the ref made bad calls on the TD call backs... The PI call was tough one but the right one... Mayfield has had their breaks too on calls such as in Murray game... However we took ours just like any other team does... We had horrible call against us in the McCracken game in the unsportsmanlike conduct after 3rd and long stand. Workman made big play and everybody on the planet would of jumped up and celebrated including the ref that made the call... Not saying it cost us the game but it sure didnt help us either. Now I dont know it may just be me. But the head ref sure didnt appear he wanted Mayfield to win with the way he acted towards the end of the DS game and not to include every one on the crew blew the punt return personal foul call. For 1 if the desales returner signal fair catch nobody seen it 2 if he did he sure in the world is not allowed to return the ball afterwards which he did. So either way it was blown call. Kyle hurt is smart young man. Very well discplined he would of never tackled the guy other wise.

... I hope and pray for both teams sake We get a crew with unbiased hearts where everything comes out to be fair and square. I cant say i have ever been to state championship game where it seemed to be going one way and a team was getting all the calls completely in their favor...

No NCC doesn't play dirty, but everyone has their own opinions. I Will say we've had our fair share of penalties this season, but they have decreased significantly. The person stating that NCC plays dirty in the Danville-Newcath thread wasn't even a Danville fan. He is a fan from LCA. Just sour grapes I guess. I will say that the Danville fans on here were very respectful after the game. I would agree the referees were horrible but they were equally horrible on both sides. Lol

I hope for a good clean game... That win or lose everybody walks away proud of their performance and holding their heads high...

Now are Danville just being sore losers or is NC really playing dirty?... I hate that between teams... Desales was seriously class act. Every play opposing players were always helping each other up... Mayfield same way... The only time i seen Mayfield get upset is when we finally just have heard enough from the other team... Murray and McCracken usually the worse... I really hope for good clean sportsmanship...

Thanks for clearing that up. I was excited. I watched his highlights he seems to be a strong contribution to NCC... Not that I really want to see any kids get ejected... That would of just been a stress relief to our ol... But at the sametime glad he is participating...

Am I reading other threads correct? The lawernce kid got ejected from NCC?

Sunday 1pm 4qrts... Scoreboard has final word... I pull for Mayfield and have been concerned about teams like OC AND DSS

Their seemed to be confusion amongst the fans about who I am... I am NOT a parent of any player.. I said I had siblings. For those who wish stir conflict... Great job... I have not said anything negative about this game or opposing players or fans. I have encouraged others to leave the trash talk out of this thread... Seemed to work.. So I aplogize for the confusion

Gearing up and fixing to roll out of Lexington. I wish all friends and family safe travels during Holiday season. As for Desales fans safe travels as well...
