Who was #20 for JC?
Kid ran very well and made multiple big plays that kept drives alive.
I did not know him but have only seen JC 3 times this year
Neither did Dicky on the radio. They didn’t have a 20 listed on their roster!!

Ashland played hard just could not get the stops on 3rd Downs to get off the field. Game was 35-27 Ashland forced a fumble but couldn’t recover before it went out of bounds and the D wore out after that. Congrats to Johnson Central.

Shocker!!!

Congrats Rams Good Luck next week

I've seen the signs, also saw a Facebook post about a pep rally at 5:30 tomorrow. I imagine there will be a good tailgate prior to the game as well.
That is correct and pretty much ideal weather too.

Good Luck to the tomcats. I think Johnson Central wins the rematch but I'm pulling for Ashland.
Johnson Central 28
Ashland 17
Signs all over Ashland saying PACK PUTNAM. Should be a huge crowd and not just Ashland and JC fans. You going to the game? Ashland hasn't had a turnover in 3 games. If they can hold on to the ball again tomorrow night they will win.

It sure is a small world. He's originally from Mt. Sterling and was in one of the last classes at Mt. Sterling High School before consolidating with Montgomery County.
I saw him he was at the game. Was my teacher in grade school at Oakview and then again in Middle School. Was also a coach for the CATS in the 80s and 90 Title Team. Great guy!!!

Place will be packed. When Putnam is packed it's hard to beat it. Better get their early for a good seat. As of now high of 59 and 40% chance of Rain. Hoping Putnam has a little magic left in her for Friday!!
-
Bourbon too me looked bigger then Central in the trenches but as most games this season Ashland was way more physical then the bigger opponent.
-
I just hope JC comes to play Friday night.
I hope they don't. LOL! Matney will have them ready.
-
I don't think most understand how good Ashland's defense is.
Or for as small in size and height how hard Ashland will hit you.
-
Congrats Rams!!! Go beat Paintsville!!!
-
Well it's a home game and Ashland is playing some really good football and this is a BIG one they know they can beat them. They have to play another great game, not a perfect game just a great one.

33-0 Tomcats

Weather will make it hard to sling it around tomorrow night. High tomorrow will be 38 and drop into the 20s by kickoff. Ground and pound and turnovers will decide the game more then likely. Ashland OL has been playing great football and opening some nice holes for Hester and Colburn. Really liked Cline in the backfield too. Kid is starting at DT at 5'9 and 185 pounds but is as hard nosed a football player as you will find. Ashland wins by 20 or more.
-
No faith in the CATS. I'm the only one that thinks Ashland wins. WOW!! Ashland wins this game by 3 plus scores.

Taking my former player Nelson Perrin and the Scott Eagles!! Hoping speed outperforms size along with playing at home.
Good luck Eagles!
Anyone that hasn't seen Central. They have size yes as big of a OL as you will see in High School. They also have speed, their not slow. Fastest team Ashland has played this season.

Good luck to both. Think JC wears down Scott and pulls away late.
#3 Johnson Central vs. #1 Wayne County (4A State Semifinals)
