  1. Ryle beat Conner two out of the three times they played last season. Counting the game yesterday that makes it 3 out of 4. Biz kept up with Ryle they just got the hits when needed and Conner left a lot of runners on. It came down to the wire and could have gone either way. It was a classic Ryle vs Conner match up and was played as such.
  2. Biz pitched. Ryle went up 1-0 in the first inning. Connor then answered back in the second and third to make it 3-1. Bottom of the fifth ryle rallied to make the score 4-3. Connor answered at the top of the sixth to tie it up, Going into the 7th still tied it began to rain heavily they continued to play, Connor got a runner on second but couldn't get her in. Lead off batter for Ryle walked, and the batter behind her got on as well. Wild pitch moved the runners to second and third. About two pitches later, another wild pitch scored the runner on third. Ryle had solid hitting and defense, but left multiple runners on. As did Connor. Pitching for both teams was excellent. The final inning was played in a rain shower as well. Seems to me Ryle is a bad weather team. Beating Dixie in the Pete knoll tourney I do believe 9-2, in 30 degree weather.
