I haven't seen any mention of his name while reading through these comments, but I think Conner Sweeney will have to step up and absorb a huge new role this season. As the only experienced big man on the roster, he is going to have to hold down the fort in the paint and really take control as a leader. Pig can only do so much, and being in the shadows of names like Shawn Johnson, Dorian Henry, and Jake O'Mara for the past 2 years, Sweeney will have a huge workload that he'll have to carry in order for this team to be successful. Go Royals!

May be a little far fetched, but is Kelly Carwile an option to return to coach? I'm not real sure where he was at last year, but was a good assistant at MC before he took the head coaching job at Pike Central.

With DeMarco Murray gone, what are the options for Dallas at the running back position? Looks like they could be negotiating with the Vikings to get Adrian Peterson. If that doesn't work out, they may have to settle with taking a back in the draft. If it comes to this, who do they take? Melvin Gordon? TJ Yeldon? Todd Gurley?

Murray signed a 5-year, $42 million ($21 million guaranteed) contract on Thursday. As a Cowboys fan, I hate to see him go.

Drove the short drive over to Winchester to catch this game. Impressed that Mason has such a young group. They play well. Someone told me that they have no Juniors or Seniors. Future looks bright for them!

Correct. They've played with each other since about 1st grade, too. Talent, experience, youth, and all kinds of chemistry within this group. Excited for the future within this girls program; way to make Maysville proud Lady Royals!

Agree. Will the Jets go after Mariota in the draft now? I heard on PTI this morning that this may all be part of a bigger plan to acquire Nick Foles from the Eagles. This would probably give the Eagles the #6 draft pick and I would assume that would result in Mariota playing for Chip Kelly once again.

How old is Murray? It is hard to put a big contract into older runningbacks depending how old they are. Runningbacks are a tough position because a running back can be great and then all of a sudden they hit that wall and all of a sudden don't do well anymore.

i.e. Chris Johnson, Maurice Jones-Drew, Steven Jackson

I'd be disappointed if this happened again.. Seems like Morgan has been an everlasting cliffhanger all season. They keep showing short clips of him, but he still hasn't appeared significantly in any episodes this season.

Pendleton County is going to be tough here in the next couple years.. They have really good young talent that is gaining all kinds of experience. Congrats to Dontaie on the big game. It's gonna be fun to watch/keep up with him throughout his high school career.

I truly believe Boone Co. could make some serious noise in the 9th Region tourney. Very fundamentally sound ball club that's on the rise. I think they could sneak up on some on the top-dogs in the postseason.

Are the Suns the only team with multiple Cats on the roster?

Valparaiso's buzzer-beater in 1998 to defeat 4-seeded Ole Miss in the tourney. The play drawn up by Homer Drew was genius and executed to perfection.

What really sucks about not having a senior night is the teams that 1.) Don't have a chance at winning first round of district, and 2.) Play district tournament away from home. Getting senior night canceled with these circumstances IMO would crush those who really look forward to having a "true" senior night. Sure you could honor the seniors at a banquet or have the PA announcer recognize them before the game, but if it isn't at home in front of a traditionally large crowd (consisting of friends and family of the seniors) then it wouldn't mean near as much to them.
