  1. Excited to get the season started. I think Harrison County should be a Top 25 team. They went 24-9 last year and have 7 starters back from that team including all of their pitching. Also had three transfers of which two are very good. Also had a couple players that actually started for them as 8th graders a few years ago that has come back to play. They are a deep talented team and has stepped up their schedule this year. Expect them to win the 10th Region this year.
  2. I agree with all these girls. Good sophomore group. I have seen Makenzie Powenski and Madison Robbins play. Very good players. You will be impressed with Madison Coppage`s hitting. But like I said, I agree with all these names that have been put on here.
  3. Madison Coppage-Harrison County Sister of 2013 Ky Miss Softball Ashley Coppage. Madison Hit around .440 last year and is improving everyday. Her dad, Roger Coppage is training her daily on her hitting, so we know where that is going. Madison plays 2nd base for Harrison County and is looking to improve on her defense this year. Looking for Madison to having a great year.
  4. Madison Polly-CF Harrison County Transfer from Scott County. One of the best outfielders for her age I have seen in a long time. She catches everything. Madison is a good hitter and is working on slapping due to her speed. Plays on a travel team that has strong ties with EKU. Also improving every day.
  5. Bailey Conley-P/SS Harrison County As an 8th grader Bailey had a .441 batting average while also going 9-4 in the pitching circle as Harrison County ace. She plays for Kentucky Softball Club. I have watched this young lady all summer and fall, she is improving every day. Already attracting a lot of college interest.
  6. And the reason for Dailey leaving Bourbon Co is that they were not happy with the coaching of Bourbon Co. Bourbon had the talent to win the Region for the last 3 years and couldn't do it. You cant constantly degrade your girls and expect to get results. Always a lot of turmoil and drama in the Bourbon Co organization. Also head coach talks bad about all the other 10th Region teams and coaches. The information I gave you come from some of the players that have played at Bourbon Co. in the last couple years. Just want to wish all the teams good luck and hopefully we can get to see some softball in the near future.
  7. Bourbon County`s Dailey did transfer to Woodford Co. Harrison County did not have any pitchers to transfer, they did have another player transfer to Scott Co., but not any of their pitchers. Harrison County will probably have 2 of the top 3 pitchers in the Region this year and have the luxury of having them back the following year. I saw the TruRank top teams for 10th Region, that is way off. Bourbon Co is nowhere near the #1 team in the Region, they will be lucky to finish 4th or 5th at best. Bourbon has a couple of nice players, but NO pitching! I think Harrison Co and Clark Co are 1a and 1b in the Region followed by Montgomery Co and Brossart. Harrison Co is loaded with hitters this year and with the help of a couple of transfers will solidify their team.
  8. In the 10th, I think Harrison and Clark are the favorites. I pick Harrison to win it due to having 8 starters back plus 3 transfers moving in. Plus with Roger Coppage as the hitting coach, this gives Harrison the edge. Clark will be good too. I think Montgomery and Brossart will be right in the mix. I don't think Bourbon will be a factor due to losing all their good pitchers and leaders. No varsity pitching experience will hurt them. Bracken is gonna go through some growing pains this year. Just think it will come down to Harrison and Clark.
