If Scott beats Brossart on Friday night they will get the #1 seed. If they lose Scott, Brossart and Campbell will have a blind draw.

I was told that its a sprain but that he would attempt to play tonight.

If NCC doesnt roll through this tournament I will be surprised.

Heard Ohmer went down in this one. Was not at the game. Hopefully he's good to go against MoCo on Tuesday.

I believe Mahan is the transfer from a small christian school that I mentioned in a previous post. He is apparently around 6' 4" or so and throws in the 80's. I can't confirm as I haven't seen him live and in person. I've only heard is throws hard, but is very raw.

 

I don't know if Seay is the ace, but he's no worse than the #2. He is tall, and has decent velocity. He's not the best mechanically, and has somewhat awkward arm action, which has caused him to be inconsistent with location over the years. He has improved, and with his size, has a high ceiling.

 

Ohmer throws mostly offspeed stuff, and stay in the strike zone. He has gotten much bigger, so he may pick up some velocity this year. Still, he's probably a 3 or 4 starter.

How many starts did Seay get last year compared to the others?

Andrew Trame and CJ Seay from Scott are some people to mention. Andrew is a great hitter but sometimes has some shaky defense. CJ pitched well for the Eagles last year and will probably be their ace this year (also like to mention he's gotten a little bigger so that might translate to some velocity). He will also be starting first base so we'll get a measure of hit hitting and fielding abilities.

Seay will not be the ace. He will probably be the #4 behind Andrew Trame, Jake Ohmer and Zach Mahan

I don't think their Ohmer was very good either.....

Ohmer was 1/2 from 3 and 2/2 from the free throw line. Only attempted 3 shots until he was pulled.

Defense takes 5 guys on the floor doing their job, when you only have 2 or 3, you get beat.

Also haven't seen Jake play since middle school but am not surprised that he is doing well. What kind of player is he now?

Kid scores from all three levels and has major range. He has bulked up some making it easier for him to get to the rim and finish through contact. With that be said he still has enough foot speed to beat people off the dribble.

Who will execute their style of play better? Scott by 6.

Eagles led by I believe 9 at one point. Just couldn't hold on.

Im going to go out on a limb and say the series gets tied up... Scott by 4

Will Jackson be playing for Campbell? I know he was out against Brossart.

Just confirmed with Ohmer's dad that he has had zero interest or communications with the schools that were listed.

 

I was thinking the same thing.

It was a good game and great win for Holmes. What I didnt like was the trash talk from Holmes towards Ohmer. It was uncalled for.

His younger brother Chad is expected to play baseball for Scott this year as well.

Chad will play baseball for Scott. He's also playing on Scott's frosh team for basketball.

I'd say he had 4 3's himself tonight and was at the foul line a lot in the 4th qtr. Again I'm just throwing out some numbers I don't have the exact stats
