What has been this game's outcome in recent years?
Central won 8-0 last year at home, but I'm not certain of any prior seasons.

Anyone else see this one? It was about what one would expect from this matchup. No shortage of hard hits and good coaching on both sides. Thanks to Meade for being good hosts and for an excellent football game.
-
Central Hardin wins and the JV will see significant playing time. Too much size, talent and speed for Muhlenberg Co. to handle. A safe game with no injuries to either team is the best case scenario.

That's a pretty good way to describe Wilson, Varneystone. Kid plays with a lot of intensity on both sides.
Anyone watching Wilson play the game would have to appreciate his effort, regardless of any allegiance to an opposing team.

CH's first win vs. Meade since 1999? Is that right?
That is correct.

My updates on this game did it no justice, but I'm new to this and hope to get better. First of all, much respect goes to Meade Co. for being one of the toughest teams in the state every season. The level of play was exceptional by both defensive units and the pads were cracking all night. Coach Mattingly was brilliant and brave to go for 2 in OT after Meade called timeout to ice the kicker. Many may have played conservatively instead of putting it all on the line in such a big game.QB's Krupinski and Wilson both impressed and gave everything for their teams. Wilson showed his constitution by meeting Arnette at or near the line of scrimmage coming up from the safety position. That kid forgets that he's a QB when he's on defense. Arnette is not easy to tackle and punishes most who try, so I must give credit where it is due. Hawkins, Willis and Bryan stood out on defense for the Bruins, though it was clearly a great team effort. Overall, it was a privilege to witness such a high level of football and I'm happy for the boys at Central Hardin.

TD Central Hardin. Meade calls timeout to ice kicker. Central Hardin then lines up for 2 PT. conversion. Toss left and Central wins in OT. This place is nuts right now!
-
TD Meade on a wild scramble and throw by QB Wilson.
-
CH driving with seconds left in 4th. FG attempt is no good as time expires. OT is fitting for this defensive battle.
-
Meade drive ends in turnover on downs deep in CH territory. Real defense being played by both teams.
-
Meade takes over on downs with under a minute in 3rd qtr.
-
CH TD called back on illegal block
