I'm with you. I can't wait until next year. He is so much fun to watch.
I just hope Ryle didn't hurt him more by rushing him back and that includes their 1st game. Groin injuries without surgery is done just need time to heal and I don't know if they let it properly heal and that is why at this time in the season he is still bothered by it. MLB players with the same injury have missed entire seasons getting it healthy and we all know football is more stressful on groin injuries than baseball.
I I love the kid and hope nothing but the best for him, I just hope they give him time to heal.
I highly doubt anyone rushed him back, anyone thinking this hasn't met our training staff. There's a lot of injured players playing every week, nagging injuries are a part of the game. If England can go he will, if not Batemen and Woolf will handle the job. Somehow this thread has turned into a one man team. Yes Ryle is definately better than their record and got here with a team effort led by the Defense. Offense was slow starting the season but has slowly gotten better. Hopefully the turnovers won't be present this week and we make it a great game with or without a healthy #7.

The same Dixie defense that caused those 5 TOs will be on the field again this Friday, but will be playing at home this time around. And you better believe that Dixie will game plan around those little dump offs to England this time as well. Dixie might just cause even more TOs at home in the colder weather.
It all adds up to a big win by Dixie, by more than what the difference was last game.
And just because I think Dixie is by far the better team (and will win by a comfortable margin) does not mean I am "disrespecting" Ryle in any way. My honest opinion is that Dixie is just THAT much better than Ryle.
Maybe the 3 forced fumbles Dixie had don't all turn out the same, Moore fumble=bounces up into RB hands in stride for a TD, next = 1st down, next TE hit at 5, official says ground caused fumble? Good thing Ryles D still shows up and plays 4QTRS each week even though the fortune tellers keep predicting blowouts!

Anyone know what happened to CC, they seem to have really fallen as of late?

No the staff can't get a play in, and yes miss a lot of assignments. Yes the boys have to execute but if you've watched this team all year and aren't a coach on staff responding... It is what it is!
-
You've lost your mind, if the Defense and strong senior backbones weren't still fighting every week a lot of the underclass men may have hung it up with the inability of the new HC to manage a game. Last years seniors had already packers up for the season at this point. Congrats on the win but let's not forget that there are 2 new coaches and they are the weakest areas of this team hands down, the rest of the staff is Warners. Yes they seem to be getting better but throwing against Boone isn't exactly a measuring stick. Good W boys you deserve, onto this weeks matchup. Good luck

Wow a nail biter against Conner
-
Careful what you wish for if we didn't make a coaching change at Ryle we may be 5-2 right now.
-
Move the ball up and down the field, stats look great, but if the end result isnt Points?
-
Call it for what it is. Conner is terrible this year, if Cooper doesn't win by at least 3+TDs they should be disappointed. Even with Ryles sorry offense, the 1's hung 40 something on them, and the D only gave up 7pts. This should be a Cooper blowout!
-
Again against a good defense on local teams 0 offense, SK,CC, or against Ryle. Everyone knows Ryle has no offense. All I'm saying . Like it or not! 0 offense....
-
What have the jags done against a quality team? Offense is nonexistent against 3 other local teams! It was impressive how Cooper didn't let last week's game get into their heads. Shake it off and move on to district. I think that says a lot about them and will serve them well through district and into the playoffs. -
Still can't believe I just watched that display of offensive play calling, that is embarrassing when you have those red zone opportunities and that's what we get. Our best plays against a team we should have beat by 30 were broken plays with QB scrambling. Pleas throw out the corner fade you need a touch on the ball. More later I think I need to pretend I'm in Colorado for a little while!

Feeling pretty good about beating a 1A school, eh? You know Mr. Classy, it was only a few short years ago that BW hung around 60 points on Dixie and their prize QB. I don't recall any BW tool spouting off about the victory like you are tonight. Grow up.
Are these the same BW fans talking titles and championships, and beating 5-6A teams. Now we are playing the 1A card. That's pretty funny. Only gets played when convenient.

I agree the stronger Boone County teams are a thing of the past with 4 high schools in a 5 mile radius. You may never really see to many high caliber teams out of the area again. Highlands, CovCath, and even SK in recent years, but they play solid schedules. Do you honestly believe you would compete with a Scott county or trinity? Let me have a hit of that. JMO like or not. One thing for sure to get a trophy in 1A There isn't the same level of teams at the end of the season.

Really throws that can't be made on Friday nights. Same kid on Saturday morning has had more than 1 opportunity to play on Fridays? Friday and Saturday has nothing comparable, game speed - physicality. We've been hearing about these freshman phenoms for years. Where are the standouts. I truly hope these 2 boys do step up and play on Friday night, we could use an offensive spark for sure.

1A ......I know you can't control who makes up your district, but tough to call a 1A school tops in NKY. Just my opinion. Truly believe if you accept $$ and take students from other school districts and counties you should have to play in 5 & 6A no matter what size the student body is. JMO

Seriously Beechwood is a top team in NKY ?

Any insights on this game.

Rebels wear your long cleats in case we get 10 inches of rain in union again.

Blowout, maybe coach saw Scott County game on schedule and scheduled a soft Saturday opponent?

It hurt because Cooper is terrible just like our offense was to start the season, I may be wrong but I think they lost convincingly to every quality opponent they played. You never want to start your season with a hometown loss especially against a team like Coopers this season. JMO
