Awesome! Congratulations to him.
Another question, what happened to the big kid CC lined up at RB some last year? Looked like The Fridge Perry back there. I was dreading seeing our guys trying to tackle him again. Was he a senior?
I bet you're talking about Dee Cain #25 He was a big kid, 6' 2" and 215+. His senior year was 2015/16. He would line up in the backfield in short yardage situations and he played wideout and just about wherever he needed to play on defense. He's playing at WKU now.

I was really impressed with CC's Riley and VanHooser. Two great ball players right there. Did I hear the PA guy correctly? VH is now CC's all-time leading tackler?
Too many positives for MF to cover them all, so I'll go with this one: Cherry had what may have been his best game as a Cardinal. Not sure if he ate the right thing before the game or someone made him mad or what, but he was definitely more aggressive . Que is just such a freak of an athlete. It's all up to him really. If and when he chooses to assert himself and decides he wants to be the best player on the field, ain't no one going to stop it from happening.
Hunter VanHooser is the leading tackler in Caldwell history with 400 tackles. Previous record was Trevor Davis with 389 tackles.

Final. Coach Barnes gets his 100th win at Caldwell Co and senior linebacker Hunter VanHooser is inching closer to the Caldwell Co career tackle record.

54-24 final

Ft Campbell with a score and 2 point conversion to make it 48-16
-
Same score at the end of the 3rd with Ft Campbell marching.
-
Ft Campbell keeps their starters in as Caldwell has reserves in and marched it down the field for a TD and 2 point conversion to make it 48-8
-
Russ Beshear (freshman qb) runs it in as time expires in the 1st half to put Caldwell up 48-0
-
Dylan Gray runs it in from 5 yards out. 41-0 5:30 left in the half.
-
Caldwell 34-0. Missed 2pt attempt.
-
Caldwell up 28-0 with 10:43 left in the 1st half
-
Don't see this game being very competitive with Caldwell's Defense playing on the level they're playing at right now.
-
Wow. Why was he thrown out?
Mouthing about something to the Caldwell coaches and the sideline ref heard him and told him if he couldn't run the box any better than that then they would find someone that would. Then he started mouthing to the ref so the ref stopped the game and had a meeting with with the white hat and then the guy was escorted out of the stadium.

First game I've ever seen that somebody from the chain gang crew got thrown out.

Jameer Riley runs it in from 5 yards out to make it 37-0 and a running clock
-
Boyce Nichols hits a 26 yard field goal to make it 30-0 with 8:08 left in the 3rd
-
2nd play of the 2nd half Joby Jaggers hits Oiliver Parker for a 45 yard TD pass. Caldwell up 27-0

Caldwell 20 Trigg 0 at the half

CC,
What year did Trigg County last win this game? any idea?
2012, if my memory serves me right it was a lightning shortened game that Trigg won by 1 or 2 points. It didn't get the name "139 Bowl" until 2013 and Caldwell has won it every year since that has began.
-
No need to worry, that 139 bowl trophy is staying in Caldwell County for another year.

Caldwell puts reserves in on defense, Union leaves in the starting offense. Union marches it down the field and scores to make it 39-7 with under 4 minutes to go in the game.
-
Interception by Caldwell’s Gabe East takes it to the Union 8. Leads to a field goal by Boyce Nichols to make it 39-0
