  1. I think this team will be more than capable of competing against big teams, and I look for a run and gun mentality. This style of play has been a very successful formula for Coach Stallworth and Manimal in the past, and should be the same with this group. Honestly this is probably a bigger team overall than last year's team. And I will go as far as to say that this will be a better shooting team as well.

definitely a bigger team, and the run and gun mentality and the pressing style helps in making it reluctant to throw the ball to the post for the opposite team. Also you wont see huge teams in gauntlet honestly speaking, magic, hoop dreams have no real post presence just some good length to go with their style of play as so does manimal. I believe it will be a good summer for the state of ky because the 2017 class is loaded.

  2. What about the non shoe AAU teams rosters such as Charlotte Court, MATTS Mustangs, KY Hoopsters, Next Level, Shining Stars, Attucks Wolfpack, WKY Elite, KY Select, and Louisville Lightning? All teams have been strong in the past, I would like to see all of the best KY teams compete in the KY AAU State tournament this year to have a true KY champion. I'm sure some of the independent teams may surprize the shoe teams

I wonder how many shoe sponsored teams will attend the state aau tourney this year.

  3. The Paul kid averaged about 10-12 a game last year, if I remember correctly. I saw at least one game where he scored 18. There was probably a college or two there and this was Faulkner's chance to put on a show.

mason has signed with nku..why would he care what coach was in the stands. In order for his team to be competitive in games he needs to take shots. He taking 59 shots sounds a little far fetched..if he took 59 shots im pretty sure he wouldve had 80 lol

  4. This. It's hard to get great recruitment unless you play AAU where the coaches are.

Coach Q has a valid point! Trevon needs to move from that local team he is playing on and get on a real circuit and showcase what he can do. I just think fitzgerald has shown what he can do against the best in the country. I also agree with coach Q that casey success will come from a team effort not individual.

  5. Blame the 12th Region coaches who filled out the Cats Pause questionnaire for the Yearbook. These are the choices of the majority.

That's interesting about Fitzgerald having more potential than Faulkner. I'll be interested in seeing if that stays true over the next 3 years.

Not saying they both wont get highly recruited but the way fitzgerald blew up on the scene last spring and summer I just think he should be credited a top 3 ranking just as Faulkner. ITs a personal opinion obviously, and your PP it was done by coaches. The 12th should be competitive once again.
